Would this Macklemore dude (who I'd never even heard of)  and his  Palestine speech  have  been highlighted as much if he was  just let   continue  his support of Sheeran?  Cancel him, now everybody knows him and his message

Whatever about Sheeran , he's  the piggy in the middle really.

Fact is, if people didn't know already of Kraft and his  Zionist links, they know now.  It will  no doubt have an effect on his businesses.  That's  the way to hit them.

Everyday the cover is  being lifted  more and more. There's  no way back for Israel and the  Zionists.  The scales are tipping.

Macklemore has been shouting free Palestine for quite a few years now and put out a song Hinds Hall 2 years ago.

Sheeran knew this and still had him on the card, he knew this was going to happen.

His balls disappeared when Kraft and the rest of his Zionist buddies pulled the plug.

Sheeran's management obviously not equipped to deal with this situation, they've let their act down badly.  This could have been so simply navigated but they crapped themselves at the first hurdle.  Stand by free speech, stand by their support acts and move on.  If stadium owners want to cancel them as a result, so be it ... then sue the hell out of them.

I don't see how Sheeran has done anything wrong here. If indeed it wasn't him but the promoters that removed Macklemore.
Let down by his management team like balladmaker said. They're supposed to make sure this doesn't happen.

He's mates with Kraft, sang at his birthday. If he'd a shred of decency in him he'd have walked when Macklemore got the road. Then comes out with bullshit about not being political even though theres plenty of examples he has been. Cowardly p***k.

Ed Sheerans manager is Stuart Camp, who to my knowledge has not given a public opinion on it.

Casey Wasserman is the former (not current) owner of the talent agency he's with.

Not sure about Sheeran's relationship with the rest but he's really close with Niamh and the Beoga crew, he took a billionaire Zionist's side over folk he loves, the money side, tells you what you need to know. He has serious weight / power and still took this path

It's been very tough on them this week. We only see what is public but they've been getting an awful lot of stuff directly. A lot of support but not all support.

Nicole Lampert is a Zionist

This is what it feels like when you are Jewish and you are in the middle of a crowd that starts chanting "Free Palestine": your heart starts beating faster. Your hands grow clammy. Your legs start to shake involuntarily. Your body perceives danger; you are in flight mode.

Even if, intellectually, your brain is telling you, "wanting a free Palestine isn't the same as hating me" or "they don't know I'm Jewish" or even "the police are there and will protect me," that isn't enough to stop the fear or wipe the genetic memories stored in your DNA about the danger of anti-Semitic mobs. Your body knows Jew hatred, and it knows to be afraid of it.

That's why Jewish groups in America spoke up against Macklemore and his "Free Palestine" rant at an Ed Sheeran concert in America. Families who had gone to see a vanilla pop star who had seemed safe were suddenly confronted with people around them screaming "Free Palestine" led by the man on the stage who was singing about genocide and lauding the anti-Semites of Columbia University as heroes.

Macklemore refused; instead, he decided to lecture Jews on what anti-Semitism is with his one-sided view of a nasty 100-year-old conflict. "To all of my Jewish brothers and sisters, criticism of Israel, criticism of apartheid, being against genocide, in no way is a criticism of you. My message is for peace."

But "Free Palestine" is not a call for "peace".

The issue became a free-speech row after Jewish American billionaire Robert Kraft said Macklemore had been "deeply offensive and hurtful to the Jewish community". Kraft has spent millions fighting anti-Semitism and encouraging Israeli and Palestinian peace groups. Macklemore was forced to apologise in 2014 after dressing as a caricature image of a Jew on stage.

The stadium owner said he believed allowing Macklemore to perform at his venue would cross the line of hate speech. "Only sharing selective information and ignoring the actions of Hamas is not honest and only advances more divisiveness and hate," he wrote of Macklemore. It is a charge which could equally be directed at the British government

It felt dangerous and uncomfortable because he was riling up hatred. That is not entertainment. Why should Jews and only Jews be expected to be put up with this? Why are we told to suck up the hatred when we have seen in Manchester, on Bondi Beach, in Washington and Colorado what it leads to?
The story of cancellation blew up as everyone tried to explain their position. Ed Sheeran, who, yes, chose Macklemore but had maintained a firm line about not wanting to talk about the conflict, said all he wanted was to end division. His friend Macklemore responded: "There is no neutral position between the oppressor and the oppressed."

By Tuesday night, all of his support acts for the American part of Sheeran's tour and an Irish band who performed with him on stage had walked off, claiming their right to say "Free Palestine" was more important than anything else. Greta Thunberg, unsurprisingly, has also weighed in.

Their historical illiteracy and ignorance were summed up by Irish singer Aaron Rowe, who said: "As Irish people we know all too well about genocide, forced famine and violent occupation. I cannot stand by and allow billionaires to use their position of power to silence the rightful voices of those who speak up against Israeli genocide and who highlight the savage murder of children."
It is worth mentioning that not a single cry of Free Palestine has ever helped the Palestinians. In fact, by perpetuating what Palestinian intellectual Ahmed Fouad Alkhatib calls the "resistance narrative" – the idea that if the Palestinians keep trying to kill Israelis, they will somehow get their state – it has only made life more difficult for them.

And their demand for freedom of speech is highly selective. None of these musicians, as far as I know, spoke up when British band Oi Va Voi was cancelled from UK venues because their singer is Israeli, when Radiohead star Jonny Greenwood had to cancel gigs because of security threats to his Israeli partner, when Boy George was forced out of a musical for singing "I stand with the Jews", or when Róisín Murphy dared to speak up against the medicalisation of trans kids.

They pose as free speech martyrs, but like Irish band Kneecap and English rappers Bob Vylan, who found fame thanks to their anti-Zionism, Macklemore may find the pro-Palestine grift is lucrative. He has already gained more than one million followers on Instagram since the fuss started.

Kneecap's manager Daniel Lambert, meanwhile, exposed the obsessive hatred that gives the Free Palestine movement rocket fuel, in a statement oozing with the kind of tropes that a neo-Nazi would be proud of: "As Jewish billionaires who control America and fund the IDF decide who can and who can't perform despite breaking no laws...The IDF is still murdering kids."

This is also the thing about being Jewish when someone begins a "Free Palestine" chant. Either you suck it up, or perhaps silently leave, knowing they will do the same to others tomorrow. Or you try and stop it and get accused of having too much control, of too much power. Heads you lose, tails they win.

I'd like to think this is the case but I don't. These evil bastards have the full backing of the world's rulers ie the billionaires and they obviously don't give a hoot what the regular Joes and Josephine's think.

True, they  have protection  to continue the genocide  but people are more informed now. This  Macklemore situation will  inform more, and more will speak up. And while that feels somewhat irrelevant when up  against a genocide, people do have  a certain power , in terms of  boycotting businesses of genocide supporters.
