Sadly (for us) our injuries mean our chances on Sunday imo are nil. Treacy's loss being the final nail in our coffin. No harm, has been a great year with a national title in the bag after so many years. However, won't be the hammering alot are predicting.

The minor game is the one that is intriguing me. Am convinced that the winners of this one will win the AI. Will be touch and go.

I wouldn't write Dublin off just yet.

While Tipp looked comfortable enough for most of the game against Cork, there wasn't much in it for most of the 70 minutes. They pulled away towards the end of the game, but Cork didn't do themselves any favors with a string of brutal wides.
Also the margin of the win against Waterford, not to mention all the hype about it since, flatters Tipp a bit too much. The boys up front were on fire that day, but the implosion of the Waterford backs was a major factor too. The full back position has long been a known weak spot for Waterford, it was just particularly exposed on Munster final day.

Tipp and Kilkenny are the teams to beat in hurling at the moment, and while there's a gap in terms of confidence and consistency from some of the other division 1 teams, it's by no means the huge gulf some are making it out to be. All the hype in past years about Kilkenny's "legendary" training sessions, the depth of their panel and the fact that there's a lot of highly skilful hurlers fighting on the fringes of the first team, suggest that they could easily swap-out 6-8 of the first-choice players and still have a top-class team, with lads "frothing at the mouth" to impress Cody. So how did Dublin beat them twice this year? Is all the hype BS, or are the likes of Tipp and the Cats not so far out of reach of Dublin, Waterford, or Cork (on a good day) as we're led to believe?

It's unfortunate for Hurling this year that the Dubs are hit with so many injuries; you'd like to see two teams have at each other in the All-Ireland with their best squads available. But the lads being brought in for Dublin will also be hungry to impress, and all the expectation being lumped on Tipp could very well be an unwelcome burden (as with Galway against Waterford in the hurling, Cork again Mayo in the football). All the focus in the papers has been on the scoring from Lar and Eoin Kelly; but then Paul Ryan from Dublin has nearly scored as much as both Tipp lads combined (granted most from frees, but enough points can win games too!)

This will be no easy game for Tipperary, and in hurling you'd never know what way the ball is going to bounce for the 70 minutes!

Up Tipp!

You're obviously from the Brian Cody school of hurling analysis tipptop where a 20 point win was a 'tough game'. This will be one of two things, a comfortable tipp win with tipp playing within themselves or an annihilation of Dublin. This won't be a competitive game, especially with dublin's injuries.

No refund for a child. If you have a Cusack or Davin ticket and the holder is a full time student (with card) or an OAP you can get a rebate.

No bother. If you already have two adult tickets and want to bring a child, go to the ticket office opposite Gills early and ask them to switch the two adult tickets for a 1 + 1 - they should do it if it's not busy (which it shouldn't be)

f**k it, Tipp to win 15+ points. Dublin are improving but this Tipp team has the talent to be better than the 4IAR Kilkenny team. Cant see Dublin being able to compete tomorrow.

Puck outs, puck outs, puck outs.  Dubs must harrass, forage and do whatever to win at least a fair share of them because if they don't the ball will just fly back in to Lar and his brigade. They can do this in the opening stages but can they keep up the intensity?  Sure they are missing Keaney, Hiney, Treacy and Gough but Daly has it drummed into them that they are all an equal componenet of the team. After all the work that Daly has done with this team he will not have left his mark on them if they didn't go down fighting.  Tipp may have a point to prove in that they too are capable of four in a row but they won't prove that today.

Bet @ 10/1 - Daly will mention "step up to the plate" before 6 o'clock this evening.

The handcap on PP is 9 and I expect Tipp to beat it easily.

Paddy Power didn't say that Waterford would beat Galway by more than 9 points and they won by ten !!

;)
On the way in there now and hope its a good game.
I expect Dublin to "step up to the plate" ....Ahhhhhhh jeez, if I hear that again !!

Heading in now for the Minor game. Hope both teams do themselves justice.

The Dubin Minors putting on some display here! bit of a colour clash in this game.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose
