FFS, people do realise that Gallagher was in Provisional-Fianna Fáil, thats at least something Martin McGuinness never lowered himself to do.
Time to take a more chill-pill approach to life.

That's astonishing. The odds for Higgins were shortening on Betfair earlier and have now gone up of course, although not to those offered by PP. While Gallagher's odds have halved.

The most that you can say is that Gallagher has the anti-politician vote and that the likes of Davis have disappeared. Older votes are more likely to vote though and most of Mitchels transfers will go to Michael D.
If at first you don't succeed, then goto Plan B

Have 50 quid on Gallagher at 22/1..................... ;)

Sell it now.

The media will spend the next few days explaining his FFness and he will fall back. People will flood to Michael D. to keep him out.

Good luck with that, but to be honest, I think the 'sensible' betting option (if there is such a thing) would be to stick some money on MDH at the current price.

ballinaman

Wouldn't be great for the sensible thing normally. His FF genes might let him down alright but it'll be close in the end. Pints on me if he wins though..... :D

Gallaghers large increase in support was the lead story on Today FM news earlier. The presenter then went on to say 'Other candidates are expected to up their attacks on Gallagher in the coming week to stop him geting further ahead'

Wtf??? Although I know she was probably just saying that to give her and her meeja brethren licence to do just that, this entire election is a complete f**king disgrace. Is all anyone can offer that they're better than the others cos they're corrupt/boring/mental??? Or is it the media stirring shit becuase they've followed the english model of journalism but with even less restraint. Either way, for that to be in the psyche as an acceptable tactic is a joke.

bcarrier

Gallagher needs all the scrutiny he is getting.
