Armagh, the one true love of a mans life.

Onlooker

Fair play to Waterford for breaking such a long losing run.  As for Clare and Paidi, that appointment has turned out to be a complete disaster.

The Real Laoislad

The Real Laoislad

I expect Louth to win the next day as they can't possibly play as bad again and usually when a team like Wicklow who should have won yesterday get a replay they find it hard to produce the goods a second time around, but don't see either team going any further in Leinster after that anyways

Hardy

Louth were woeful. I expected big things of them in Leinster this year, but this was a disappointing start.

To me, all their problems stemmed from midfield, where Stafford, especially and Walsh, to a lesser extent, dominated. (He'll probably settle in better once he learns the way "home" and isn't spending the hours of darkness poking around Wicklow looking for his house). This put Louth under pressure throughout and they never seemed to settle and always seemed to be in a panic trying to chase the game, leading to basic errors, fumbling, hasty shooting, etc. However, they did what they had to do when the fat was in the fire and to escape a sutuation like that is a good sign of a team.
