Repeat of 1990 world cup final and probably a repeat result.
Also a repeat of the 1986 final.

They never met in those finals. That was West Germany. Germany haven't won the World Cup before.

Technically the country was and is called the Federal Republic of Germany, and DDR was re-integrated into it.  So they have won the world cup before.

What a nasty piece of work that Robben **** is.  Screaming for a red card in a third place play off?

not looking good after 15 mins, could be another tear feast at the finish here

Hardly enough to be considered for the team of the tournament, Varane was good

See I thought Varane was poor. The way he got bullied for Hummel's goal was criminal.

A quick guess my side (4-2-3-1) would be:

Neuer
Isla
Hummels
Silva
Blind
Mascherano
Kroos
Robben
Rodriguez
Messi
Muller

A few Colombians and Chileans can feel hard done by

The a Match of the Day lads must have been looking at my side. 9 out of 11. Not bad

MOTD XI:
Manuel Neuer (Germany), Philipp Lahm (Germany), Giancarlo Gonzalez (Costa Rica), Mats Hummels (Germany), Daley Blind (Netherlands), Javier Mascherano (Argentina), Toni Kroos (Germany), Arjen Robben (Netherlands), Lionel Messi (Argentina), James Rodriguez (Colombia), Thomas Muller (Germany)

In fairness I think most people would have had most of those players anyway

Jeez Rodney are you not still in the bar after yesterday ;)

Lahm'd be lucky to get in the team of the tournament unless he has a cracking game tonight. Poor Neymar probably deserves a place too,we seen how much they created without him the last 2 games.

As mad as it sounds i can see Hummels getting player of the tournament if he has a big game tonight, has been outstanding.

For me Mascherano is the best player at this thing....................... Just about over Mueller.
