Seriously? Wow that is a shock,he's played well this season. Maybe Deschamps trying to keep the squad full of players he trusts to put in hard graft and not fall out with anyone in the squad but then he'd have to drop Benzema surely?

Armamike

France must be useful if he Nasri can't make the squad.  He's not a world beater but on form he's a tricky player, clever player who can cause defences a few problems.
That's just, like your opinion man.

Not like they have nobody in midfield to replace him, Pogba and Cabaye.. Nasri's form with France wasn't good in the Qualification - as Deschamp said when he is dropped he doesn't like it and its not good for moral in the team

And Evra.....
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

It's no shock to Nasri. He admitted himself last week that he wouldn't make it as he didn't get on with most of the squad..

And Evra.....

Deschamp's got a bit of a horn for him since Evra apparently gave a brilliant half time team talk in 1 of their last group games despte being left on the bench so he was never going to leave him out.

If Spain won this WC and made it 4 in a row of international tournaments would they be the greatest side ever ?

Out of interest where are they currently ranked and who are above them?

Wow, surprised he didn't pick Al Pacino.

ONeill

Here's one for ye - Spain not to qualify out of their group. Netherlands and Chile to pip them. What odds?

Wouldn't be that surprised if Spain finished third in their but 4 or 5/1 isn't great value. I'm putting a few quid on Ivory Coast to win their group at 7/2. It looks a pretty even group with Japan, Colombia and Greece, but I'm backing Yaya Toure to make the difference. Also, they're playing Greece and Japan up north and the heat should suit them.
