The key to success is to be consistently competitive -- if you bang on the door often it will open

Just driven from Omagh to Cookstown.
Roads are dreadful.
Was told part of the road wasn't gritted, just make sure you stay between the tyre tracks made in the road.
I am home for the night and part of the road from Omagh to Cookstown was not gritted.
Basically from the turn off to Greencastle to Cookstown the road was brutal.

should be gritted by morning but shouldnt it?I head that way to work
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either

Why are so many people coming to Greencastle when there's this much snow?

Maybe it's the other Greencastles.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Good covering in rostrevor and snowing like mad now. Lovely view of the forest out the back window :)

East coast to get it over the next day or two 25cm accumulations.

They must be having some criac in Eastern Scotland, Dundee seems to be getting it, and the likes of Newcastle on Tyne.

...and before anyone says "I used to have a car like that"....believe me...it was dangerous :'(...as any of the Jacks on here would know...there's a big ramp up onto the M50 from Sandyford....let me tell you that was good crack!!

Sure you'd cycle it in that time!

Probably you were going on at (lucky for some) junction 13. Not only has this a steep ramp up but is at the highest point on the M50 and a degree or so colder than Dublin generally. Enough to cause extra ice. Junction 14 might be better.

Hate when that happens. Wee tip, try going to "the north", always good to point the car in the right direction
