You never know what freak event can happen to an oldies band member.
I heard (in the distant background) on the news that a drummer with an oldies band (ELO or Supertramp?) got himself killed by a marauding bale of hay yesterday. Rolled down the hill and hit his car with fatal consequences.

Shamrock Shore

Yes - some lads ex-ELO got squashed by a bale of hay.

Rock and roll, baby.

Not quite up there with Keith Richards' dice with death a few years past when he fell out of a Coconut Tree.

Good news about the gigs but you start to wonder if this is going to take on the shape of the last ever (honest) annual Shane MacGowan/Popes/Pogues Xmas eve gig in some Dublin venue.
Undefeated at the Polo Grounds

Shamrock Shore

Yes Dougal! Ray is on the drums again! Eamon will continue to be part of the publicity but won't play live!

Thanks for the link! 'Sword of Light' is pure filth and should be banned cos it's all about riding!

Word has it that Jennifer Thompson listened to Ride to Hell as she did it with Wayne Rooney
