As good a place here to put it, as most acts at Glastonbury they play their main hits and the crowds love it..

Was at Custom house square last night for Paul Weller, lovely night weather wise, Magners flowing, but feel when these guys have so many to play from that they don't play the big ones, maybe try and promote other stuff. I suppose its his concert and he can sing what he wants, but the missus maybe recognised 2 or 3 songs at best and when the big songs did come on the crowd were massively involved, when he played lesser numbers the bar was full..

I as there with my wife last night also , she wouldn't be a huge fan by any means but between the style council songs and the old jam classics  along with his early solo stuff like changing man/ broken stones  she would have known about a dozen of the setlist songs and she enjoyed it a lot more than she expected

I enjoyed it btw, the Weller lookalikes where brilliant, I was going to buy a Fred Perry yesterday morning but just resisted lol

I had tickets to go but other stuff came up,  used to be a real die hard fan but drifted in recent years,  probably from the Stanley Road album.  I would personally say that album was him at his musical peak

My oldest Bro had the full kit as a mod, Parker coat Boating blazer, the hair, loafers and when he asked the parents for a Vespa they declined as we'd no where to put it lol!  City Hall on a Sat morning the place was full of Mods and Skin heads, the punks more so around Corn Market 

To be fair the women Mods were hot
