Strong U-21 panel named.Hopefully they can get a good run this year.Derry will be tough as usual, and will not need much motivating especially after events at Clones a few years ago.

Looks like a very good panel however couldn't have asked for a more difficult opener. Who's the Mc Namee lad from Aghyaran does he play with their seniors?

That should be a cracking u21 tie v Derry. Lot of pressure on the management to produce a result, would be good to see the minors from 08 making the step up to u21 level. Any word of a team for Sunday? Thought Harte usually names one even if its only McKenna Cup.

Played full back for the county minors in 09 and from memory played well at wing back v Kildress in the relegation playoff last year.

On form, I think Cathal McRory of Errigal is the only notable absence from the u21 panel and from what I'm told he's made that decision himself. There were a few other lads that started in the Ulster Minor Final v Derry that aren't on the squad - Paul Martin of Fintona, Paul McAleer of Carmen and Tiernan O'Hagan. Paul Martin I know very little about, Paul McAleer played in the league finals for Carrickmore last year but if he couldn't get an appearance in the championship for Carmen it would be hard to justify selecting him and O'Hagan probably just bulked up over the winter but will be on the panel come the start of March just like last year.

TD, Harte definitely didn't name the team in advance for any of last years McKenna Cup games

Very strong panel. Most of the 2008 minors in there. When is the game v Derry?

I'd assume the games are on Wednesday night so as not to clash with the National League games at the weekend
