word is that croke park sent the cookstown u 16 child protection issue back to tyone to sort out and the tyrone ccc have taken no action on the assaults - cookstown are now taking it up with the ulster council - are omagh going to keep hiding their head in the sand and hiding these guys behind yellow bibs ?

The irony of it all...  ::)
Fox you haven't a clue but it doesn't stop you from giving your tuppance worth. What a know it all

I'll tell you what I know, like Omagh and Cookstown got fined £250 each and the CCC closed a club's field earlier this year for allegedly not handing a person up for striking a player (not an Under 16 tho). Cookstown obviously are not happy and indeed may be going to the Ulster council... but hey! when you own the county ground...  :o

You're right on 'allegedly'... they had field closed for not putting a name forward of person who hit Omagh reserve player. Anyway we've been over that one. There seems to be one law for one club and another for Omagh  :o

Whats it all about

Did Omagh hand up stewart who hit under 16? ...because he did hit him.  If not, why was their field not closed? One law for one club and another for Omagh  :o

You will go round and round in circles with this thread!!! Everyone knows that in both issues serious events took place along with accusations but its simple, everything is simple when its not your club!!!! Omagh were high and mighty when the issue happened against them and now they are skulking pretty low when the light is on them :o  Thats what happens clubs round up and defend their corner and every club is the same!! but the CCC should be consistent ??? ??? and thats why problems occur.   Now move on for god sake!!!!!!! :'(

Well Folks!!  It was all a rumour and Rocwell are staying on... decision made last nite.

A one year deal Fox?  And any word on the value?  Would be surprised if it was £100k.

longrunsthefox

Haven't a clue wat the deal is...

Maybe not ???

A Fermanagh based company could well be the new Tyrone sponsors as they bid to agree a deal with the three time All-Ireland winners.

Target Express is owned by Derrylin native Seamus McBrien and it is the largest privately owned courier service in the U.K, employing over 500 people with 23 depots.

The Tyrone county board have revealed that they may be seeking a new sponsor for next year as current sponsors Rocwell may not go ahead for another term.
And McBrien admitted that he has held initial talks with the Tyrone county board over becoming the county's new sponsor.
"Discussions are ongoing and nothing has been finalised, but our hat is in the ring and we are glad to be still in the running," said McBrien.

He added that the company was interested in sponsoring Fermanagh, but the county board opted to renew their long standing deal with Tracey Concrete.

That piece was before Tuesday night. Rocwell will do their final year on deal in 2010 and I
suppose it'll be on the table again after that.

would barry mulligan be the playmaker that tyrone need if brian mcguigan is struggling with fitness? would you rate him better than ray mulgrew, tommy mcguigan or penrose? seems to be playin well for cookstown.

Would rate him a better playmaker (as in someone who brings others into the game) than Mulgrew or Tommy but I have always wanted to see Penrose in that role, where he played for the minors.
Tommy is more a number 12, Raymie is more a number 22 (don't want to sound harsh but he has not fulfilled his early promise).

The lad is only 23, fer christs sake. There's a few lads with numerous All Stars and All Ireland medals on the Tyrone side that never got near the 1st 15 until they were that age.

longrunsthefox

Aye but it is a concern when he was a regular on the taem in 2007 and got an All Star nomination and this year never even came in as a sub in the championship.
