Niall Sludden playing well so far for Dromore.

Looking good for Dromore at half time. Semi draw:

K'clogher v Omagh/Dromore
Coalisland v Trillick

McNabb not doing too bad either.

How many years from a team retained the championship?

Neutral View - Lets call it as it is. Omagh were lucky champions last year, they were beaten by Coalisland, Dromore and Carrickmore until late goals "stole" the wins. Tonight they were back to what we all expected from them again, a town team with no b@lls. They had 2 tactics, give it to Meyler and expect him to win the game or attack up the left hand side of the pitch (slowly) It didn't take Dromore long to catch on and they soon left the full right side of the pitch empty, knowing Omagh would always recycle and attack up the left, so predictable and easily defended against.

Dromore were very impressive, look well drilled and organised, will take a good team to beat them !!!! They mix it up by keeping the ball for minutes at a time but when the opportunity is there, they attack at a serious pace. Ricey is like having a manager on the field, he still runs the show

They have produced the performance of the weekend. Big favourite for championship now.

Omagh were beat out the gate tonight. Were completely intimated by dromore. Conor Clarke was taken of at half time and truth be told he prob shouldn't have been playing. The cruciate injury is Gona take a while to get over. Dromore dominated the middle third and were first to every break. Mcnabbs injury galvanised them if anything and even mccullaghs black card after 10 min didn't affect them.dromore had there homework done on Omagh alright. Niall sudden was good the first half and should be looked at next year at county level. R oneill hardly touched the ball as Omagh couldn't get the ball up the field and any time he did he hadn't the pace to do anything. Big joe was a massive loss to Omagh.meyler tried hard for Omagh and took some hits as did Conan grugan. Best for Dromore were sludden and ricey wile the 2 McNabbs also played well

twenty one yard free

Carrickmore pitch will need no more fertiliser this year as it was well manured by omagh this evening

Dromore were able to bring on good players throughout the game. The 15 they finished with were as strong as the starting 15. Great addition to any team.

Clarke has been back playing since last November,  he played in an ulster club final, has been playing with tyrone since march and has been playing for omagh all year..to say he shouldnt have been playing is bs..he just wasnt up to it and was rightly taken off..in fact about 5 omagh players couldve been taken off at that stage
To suggest omagh were lucky last year is aload of crap..they bossed the last 10-15 mins v c'island and rightfully won, hammered eglish, dromore game was tight the whole way through and yes got a goal in last min to win, a move that was worked the whole length of the field, so was hardly lucky. Carmen had time to come back in the final but omagh held out, it was hardly a lucky goal, again well worked. You are hardly lucky if u get to ulster final beating the teams Omagh did.

Last nite Dromore were simply the better, hungrier side, simple as. Probably shouldve won by more. Was standing beside a group of omagh men before the game and they werent confident. Reckoned there was as many as 8-9 gone/missing from the squad they had last year and had nothing on the bench to come on, which i have to say seemed to be the case.
Young sludden has to be a must for the county.

Carrickmore about ten years ago I think

the goal was on

Carrickmore 04/05 last team to do back to back . Dromore came close 07 / 08. Lost by point in extra time to clonoe.

Sad to hear of the petrol bombing of Moy over the weekend.  GAA clubs may need to look at reviewing the security in place with 2 clubs attacked in a number of weeks (Augher also).

Living the dream!!!

Soup an Samajiz

Really quality game of football yesterday especially considering the playing conditions. Few of Sluddens first half points were superb. Dromore were very impressive, never gave away possession at all, Omagh more susceptible to unforced errors but thought both teams played to a high quality. Myler I thought put in a fair shift, was took out every time he gave the ball - maybe "took-out" is abit strong but was stopped running anyway. Thought Omagh were on the wrong side of a few decisions from the referee, Justin McMahon didn't get anything for free anyway in the middle. Ricey was outstanding, no question of him losing hunger for the game anyway. Thought the Omagh full forwards had the beating of their men in the first 5 minutes but it just seemed Omagh stopped playing the ball into them. Dromore were extremely patient in their attacks too, recycled and reworked the ball so many times before taking the shot.

It'll be a very good team that beats Dromore anyway.
Think like a wise person but communicate in the language of the people

blewuporstuffed

I thought the referee had a very good game overall. These games can be difficult to handle at times and I thought he got the vast majority of calls right, including  couple of attempts from Myler to 'buy' a free.
Justy was harshly blown up once for over carrying, but I cant think of many others.
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either
