Minor League Full Time
Dromore 0-11
Cappagh 0-11

A late comeback from a Dromore team short of many experienced players secured them a point in the minor league tonight. The equalizing score taken by Colm MacRory to secure a draw for the home side. Cappagh led throughout the first half but could not continue this form into the second half. A poor refereeing decision in extra time nearly cost Dromore the game but however Cappagh did not manage to score to win the game.

After having a dig at the management a few weeks ago, I'll give credit where credit is due. On paper, that seems a much stronger panel than the one that was originally named for the Minor League and should give them a fighting chance against an in-form, Ulster League winning Armagh side. The omission of Liam Gervin and Aodhan O'Donnell are probably the main question marks but that's just nit picking. All in all there's certainly the capability of an Ulster title in that particular bunch and after that - who knows?

It was sourced from Tyronegaa.ie and it was emailed out to the clubs as well. I didn't notice McGuigan's omission originally - it's a major surprise.

Who would be considered the best players on the minor squad this year? You'd imagine with most of last years team gone it will be a struggle this year but then with Omagh and Academy doing well its hard to know. How many Academy and Omagh players are on it? I take it Thornton is likely to be the free taker?

Carrickmore and Fianna tonight. Should be a good run out before the championship.
