Meanwhile in San Francisco we have a city council member who wants to make it a crime if you call 911 on a black person and no crime had taken place , so in his opinion if you feel threatened or are worried about a potential situation you should wait until the person of color commits the crime before you call 911, turkeys voting for Christmas

So, in your opinion, all these people calling the police for no reason because they're personally nervous about black people is ok?

There should be no penalty for someone like the Central Park woman who called the cops on the black guy because he had the nerve to ask her to leash her dog in an area where it was supposed to be leashed?
its none of his business why didn't he call the cops ? she is the clown who would probably vote for the law .

As I have said on here a million times, most of the limousine liberals I know who lecture us about systemic racism and inequality would $hit themselves if a black person came within half a mile of them.

Wasn't this lady from Central Park a big Hillary supporter? Funny how all her social media postings have been wiped from the internet

Wasn't it in San Francisco where some white person called the cops on a black guy opening up his coffee stand in the morning? They told the cops he was breaking into it. The guy, a father, was opening up his own business, literally minding his own business, when a pair of cops showed up with hands on their guns asking what he was doing. I don't expect a Fox News viewer to have any kind of empathy, but I would imagine that would be a moment of stark terror for a black person who would think, rightly, that their life could be about to come to an abrupt end.

Then there's the family that was moving their luggage out of an Air BnB at the end of their vacation only to have the cops called on them by a white person who decided that a burglary was in progress!

Then there's the black student who dozed off for a nap while in college and had the cops called on her for god knows what reason.

Damn right it should be at least a misdemeanor to call the cops on a person of color without good cause. If you're so terrified of black people that to you it looks like everything they do, no matter how innocuous, looks "suspicious," then they need protection from you, not the other way around.

It WAS his business. He was there birdwatching.

There are signs up everywhere in The Ramble that dogs need to be leashed.

The location is one of the prime bird-watching areas in NYC.

As for HIM calling the cops, do you really think this is what cops should be involved in?

And this is only ONE example of idiots calling the cops on black people for no reason.

MOST?

Even if so, so what?

Makes them hypocrites, not wrong.

Most hispanic murder victims are killed by other hispanics.

Most white murder victims are killed by other whites.

Most black murder victims are killed by other blacks.

Most Asian murder victims are killed by other Asians.

People tend to congregate in communities, murderers tend to kill people within said communities. But we never hear about "white on white" crime. We never hear about "white on white" violence. We only ever hear about "black on black" crime. To conservatives, only when blacks commit crime does race come into it as a factor or underlying cause. This is why white people are consistently described as "troubled" or "mentally ill" when they go shooting up a church, or cinema, or school, or commit any other type of crime. But when a black person commits a crime, conservatives can only see their race.

And they have the gall to use the word "liberal" as a term of abuse.

The racism at the heart of modern conservatism is as sure a sign as any that it is a sick and twisted ideology that must be defeated.

all these are publicized but do you not think people call the cops on white , Asian , Hispanics for no reason all the time ? what do you think the % of 911 calls on black people are legit ?  Wait until the crime happens to call 911 is a great policy until you are at receiving end . If you feel in danger no matter who the person is you should be able to call the police without fear of being charged with a crime .

five points

If I see unexplained activity in my elderly and vulnerable neighbour's house at a very strange time of night, I will of course call the cops if I think they are being burgled or attacked. And if it turned out only to a relative or a doctor or some other emergency service, so what? Better safe than sorry.

That should always be the case in any event - anyone arguing otherwise has a different agenda

The Central Park woman was charged. Luckily for her, the man in question, felt that she had suffered enough and is not cooperating with the DA, so she may get off.

And why would you feel like you're being lectured to? Do you not agree with and support politicians who decry racism?

Homicide rate for blacks in 2016 was approx 8 times that of whites.  (22.8/100,00 VERSUS 2.9/100,000)

And you think that's okay?

So black people should just have to live with the consequences of people being afraid of and unnerved by their presence merely on account of their skin colour?

her being charged is probably more to do with pandering, a lunatic mayor and I'm sure a liberal da who's under pressure to release violent rioters and looters with no charge and yet charge a woman with a crime for calling the police because someone was hassling her . Now if that doesn't show the lunacy nothing does .
