No sign of a lean yet - but .............

Great buy. The new Sahin.

And you only have to replace 3 letters on your Sahin shirt! #bargain

heganboy

I think you'll find Sahin did a pretty good job for Klopp...

African cup of nations will pose a problem though with these men. Mane Salah, Matip if he decides to return to the fold, and Keita a potential signing, also be lost in January time to the tournament. It would put me off signing African players if i was manager to be honest, well, too many anyway.

laoislad

There's no African Nations until 2019. I wouldn't be worrying about it.
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

keita @ 70M aged 22
vs
matic @40M aged 28

which is a better buy?

I view keita as the kante/ roy keane style midfielder liverpool have been missing for 30 years.

does that make van dijk the new hansen@ 50M aged 25?

who knows? bookies have keita as 11/8 to move to Liverpool this summer and van dijk at 5/4.

i think both are good business in this market. Mbappe is now 25/1 which is about right...

Is Van Dijk a good buy at 60M?

I thought he was overpriced at 50m  :-\

Is it because he is already in the PL that he is so expensive?

When a player as proven as Lacazette can be got for 15m less it's hard to make the case that's good value.

Armamike

If he tightens up the Liverpool defence he's worth every penny.
That's just, like your opinion man.

Its apples and oranges though.
Liverpool need a top central defender.

Does Lacazette play centre back?

If they buy him and he helped them win the league he would be worth every penny.
I'm not sure he is worth it though. I'd worry he hasn't played for a big club and might not make the step up.
Lovern looked great at Southampton the season he was there also and he is a bit hit and miss as we know.
Would they be better off say signing De Vrig and saving a few quid and get a quality left back aswell.
Or maybe even keep Sakho!!
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

A quality striker is worth more than a fat lad who puts his arse in the way of a ball, and always has been.
