If he did it deliberately then the attacker is not offside and he gets booked for unsporting play.  If he rolls across the line accidentally, or is pushed over as part of play, then the attacker IS offside.

Hmm.. 8th in the league and reaching the final of the 2nd Tier European competition that UEFA are considering doing away with because no amount of renaming can attract sufficient interest to make it a marketable product is hardly "back at the top table" 🤔
