Ok. Has anyone given a thought to the fact that Liverpool are playing so much better without $tevie Me in the team................ ( slips away before the fire and pitchforks arrive)

I only thought I felt tired after 4 days of non stop munching til I read that.

Phewwww, you will be relieved to hear I didnt put the fiver on at the bookies.  Missed the game but as has been said here, it was decent match

Shes cowl out

Big game today but we are playing well and are in a good position for turn of the year and 2nd half of the season. Despite the fact we are not top we have the following teams all to come to Anfield in 2014 - arsenal, city, spurs, Chelsea, Everton, Newcastle so plenty of opportunity to make inroads on the teams around us. We have hope and if we get few men in next month then we can certainly finish in top 4.

Yeah it's a bonus we will have played all the big teams and Everton away from home before the start of the new year.

You'd have to be happy with a draw today and a win would be huge.
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

Yeah, a result of some kind would be great! Jez though have you ever seen it so tight at the top of the Table?

Liverpool getting played off the park in midfield at the moment. Every time a player gets the ball they're instantly under pressure from Chelsea's work rate and physicalilty. Big test here. Rogers has work to do.

Captain Obvious

Liverpool looked like a tired team in that first half did the Manchester City game take too much out of them?

Q.  Why shouldn't you let any Liverpool players take your dog for a walk?

A.   'Cos they can't hold onto a lead for more than 5 minutes! :))

The Worker

Sakho off the bar, yet more bad luck for the red men.

Bingo

Badly lacking a bit of power around the middle. Just hanging in at the minute. Could be a long January.

If we didn't already know it, Liverpool need to add to their squad. That Smith kid looked way out of his depth, albeit in an extremely tough situation to make your debut.
Top 4 spot is still there to fight for though.

StGallsGAA

Rodgers is one shrewd tactician, buoyed by the team's early season success he's now undoubtedly gunning for 8th spot so no European distraction next year either so he can replicate their mini revival next season.

Nineteen games gone at the half way stage now, have Liverpool and Luis Suarez peaked too soon or will they get another thirty six points that might be enough for fourth spot?

Gabriel_Hurl

Played all the big teams away from home now with them all to come from Anfield.

Gerrard and Sturridge to come back in the next month.

No reason to think why they can't hang around the top 4.
