Thought he should have gotten another season to be honest. Can't keep changing managers every Summer. FSG would want to get the finger out. We have no manager, no director of football and no communications director. And still no movement on a new stadium. They let Kenny take all the heat during the Suarez affair because they had no proper staff in place to deal with it and now they give him the bullet.

Talk of Martinez but really what's he done except barely keep Wigan out of the relegation zone by the end of the season. Grand he has some promise but still a big gamble.

Who's in charge? The cat?

Absolutely ridiculous decision, Kenny deserved another season at least.

So the next manager will be out on his ear this time next year if he hasn't came up to the mark? Yeah a year is enough to turn around a club.

f**king DISGUSTED!

I've heard it said that they had to act quickly as Special Agent Alex McCleish is available.

The only thing I  hope for is they have someone already lined up,otherwise there is no sense to this.
As someone already else stated, who is going to pick this new manager? there is no one left at the club!

Bingo

Next manager has to be right, has to be someone been there and done it. No point trying a one hit wonder manager. Far too big of a job to be done to meet expectations off the field - owners and fans - and a big job to be done with whats on the field.

Not just a team to build but the fabric of the club as well and a future as well.

Martinez Rogers Lambert etc - no thanks.

And if another says O'Neill they can f**k all.

Its a sad day for LFC.

Still can't see who is going to be doing the appointing/head hunting.

Bingo

Clarke walked (maybe before he was pushed as well)

Ayre still in place. (But has 76 roles to fill, including feeding the cat).

I'm not taking the Michael here but do you not think your expectations are way too high? More realism on the part of Liverpool supporters is needed. The "Glory days" are long gone and until the club can find some mega-bucks sheikh or the like they will stay in the shadows of their neighbours at the other end of the M62.

Who do you want Bingo & more to the point who do you reasonably expect to attract?

The glory are long gone for sure, CL winners not too long ago, two cup finals this year, etc etc. Is glory now solely making the top 4 and playing CL. If it is, we are truely fucked. Should United fans have been told in the early 90's when Fergie was 5 years in with no title to behave themselves and expect nothing in the future cause the glory days are long gone? What is glory days?

Liverpool fans just want a fair crack at the whip and a proper club in place. At the minute we are a circus. The club was always built on stability, but that is long gone. I don't think anyone following the club thought they are close to winning the league. But they just want to compete, take on the big clubs and build from there.

There was signs we could do that. You don't reach two club finals without having something about you, beating City, Chelsea, United, Everton along the way.

Is it a case that we sack everyone now after 12 months? Is that what we should expect? I just want to see a stable club that is building year on year and progressing.

I can't even think who should get the job. No fly by night manager. Martiniez - no way, his best achievement is avoiding relegation at the death for the last few seasons. Hardly groundbreaking or legacy building that!

I can't even think who is going to appoint the manager, never mind think that a few baseball yanks made the call to remove a true football manager. Who is advising?

Maybe he will go to Everton next? Sure he won more in 16 months than Moyes has won in 10 long years :D

Ah yes, Sheedy from the great everton club with the great Moyes in charge, at least Kenny has the satisfaction of knowing he won more trophies in one full season in charge of Liverpool than Moyes has in ten seasons.
