Very dull first half. Second half was a bit better. Penalty alright at the end but what can you do. All season I've been saying how bad the officials are this year. Scary that Howard Webb is considered the best of them. He is not very good to say the least.

You don't get penalties for fouls outside the box.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Pretty sure Fabregas' feet were on the line.

You need to read the rulebook O'Neill.

So should Howard Webb if he thought it was a free kick in the first place.

The free at the end was give for the foul on Kuyt.

Doesn't mean to say Gerrard never dived to try and get it.

And so were Bentdner's when he was brought down.

Contact doesn't always mean that a foul has taken place. Especially so in this case, given that he was already mid-dive when he trailing leg brushed against Agger.

Bentdner quite clearly dived. A decision Howard Webb actually managed to get right. Granted Wenger had a perfect view of it and thought it was a penalty.

What is the relevance of this?

Wenger had an awful view of it, Bendtner was across the pitch and on the far side of the incident frm where he was standing.

Bentdner took a Rooney dive, he antcipated contact and was on the way down before it came and it did, 9/10 thoses penalties are given.

There was not one but two dives leading to the last free kick. Howard Webb is just brutal period.

Despite what the studio muppets say, Cesc had moved just off the line.

Disappointing result, just when I thought they had weathered the storm, Insua turned off and let a man in behind him. Think a draw would have been fair, terrible first half.

Liverpool played the way that has served them well in recent times, not pretty but was effective. Babel unlucky with that effort and how we need Torres back. Puts a bit pressure on to get a win at City or avoid defeat at the very least.

Bendtar dived, he was on his way when he clipped Agger.Kuyt didn't dive, look at his reaction, he was straight back onto his feet for the ball, when the whistle went, he didn't know why.

I thought Bendtner's right foot was still planted when Agger hit his left leg.

Well you thought wrong.
