Big game today. No point beating the likes of Arsenal,Leicester and Chelsea if we can't beat Hull at home.

Sturridge and Lovern (infection) out Firmino and Klaven in
DS15 on the bench though  isn't he?

Yip, had a sore hip in training 🙄👴🏻

Some performance so far, this could end up 6 or 7 to Liverpool.
Will probably finish 3-3 so :)

Jeez that half was COMPLETE dominance. I can only remember Hull in our half once

5-1.As easy a win as I can remember. Frustrating to concede from Hull's one and only attack.
Another cracker from Coutinho. Match of the Day Goal of the Month competition could be actually be filled with goals scored by Liverpool.
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

The Stallion

Shouldn't be conceding to relegation fodder like Hull, shoddy stuff again defensively. Will ultimately cost them. If only Klopp hadn't blown upwards of 60 million without addressing glaring weaknesses in the side.

TabClear

Great performance.  Only slight blemish is conceding another set piece goal but hey.  Some of the intricate passing was really good. If philippe s passing radar had been on could have have been double figures.

Any only one more match against Burnley this season! !

I really don't understand why people get their knickers in a twist over this. What's the big deal?

Good read this. Interesting to hear what's it like to play against Klopp's Liverpool.

Wijnaldum is a great player. He doesn't stand out as much for the fancy tricks and stuff like Mane does but his work rate in winning back possession and creating an attack is unreal.
I wasn't enthused about this signing, but Wijnaldum has done really well recently alright.

I obviously didnt pay much attention to Newcastle last year, as he's a completely different type of player to what I thought he was.

Im the same actually, he has turned out to be a different player than i thought they were getting.
I was expecting more of a  Lallana type player with a  few more goals in him.
He has gotten off to a really good start to his liverpool career anyway, and hopefully he can pick up his goalscoring form from newcastle to add to it too.
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either

I'm just delighted to have the jinx lifted! Great day out and a great result. Performance I would say was very good, rather than brilliant. I only caveat it because Hull were a beaten docket from the kickoff almost. They just panicked in possession, and couldn't keep tabs on the Liverpool attackers at all. IT was great to see the LFC intensity being up from the very start against a team like that though. Those games are the ones where the whole thing is slowed down because you are not under pressure, and it meanders to a frustrating 0-0. But from the very start they tore into them, and to be honest if they didn't ease off in the second half, it would have been 8 or 9.

Matip and Klavan looked very comfortable dealing with everything in front of them, including hoofed clearances with a centre forward trying his best to pressure them. That little triangle of Matip, Klavan and Henderson dealt very well with that sort of thing, and the little triangles they played to get the ball moving again were very good.

Anfield looks brilliant by the way, the new stand is lovely. I was in the Centenary Stand, so I don't know what it's like inside, but it looks fantastic.
