Was thinking of Van Der Sar for one of the Dutch and Christian Vieri for the Italian ( who must have whored himself round 10 clubs in Europe).

Quotename the 13 foreign players that featured on the opening weekend in 1992 of the premier league?

Names of that era.

Thorsvedt, Nayim and Bergsson of Spurs.

Cantona of United.

John Jensen of Arsenal.

Molby, Grobelaar of Liverpool.

Peter Ndlovu might have been on the go. Roy Wegerle too. There was another American of that vintage who player full-back and midfield for Sheffield Weds, but can't remember his name.

Johnny Metgod might still have been around.

Would ROI players not be considered as foreign?

Not trying to turn it into anything just wondered is all.
ROI players would have technically been foreign players wouldn't they?

The key to success is to be consistently competitive -- if you bang on the door often it will open

John Harkes?

Tony Baloney

Jensen, Bosnich, Grobelaar, Rosenthal, Kanchelskis, Schmeichel, Molby, Cantona, Yorke. Done after that.

thewobbler

That's the boy Heffo.

There was a big feature on him when Weds made the cup final in either 92 or 93. I'd be pretty sure he played in the opening season.
