Ho ho ho Mannix. Never heard that one before  :-\

Anyhoo the ISS/Space shuttle will again be over us 4 times tonight but the first two will hardly be visible cos it will be still brightish

As long as it's clear it should be visible:

19:53:42 - coming in from W - heading SSW - visible until 19:59:30
21:29:10 - coming in from W - heading SSW - visible until 21:34:00 (this may not be too visible as it will be quite low in the sky)
Thanks for this SS.

Was very clear in the North Dublin sky last night.

Hound I didn't get out for the early fly by but went out for the second one and didn't see it.  Update us on the next one please.

Great sky at night this last week. Just a pity it'll be gone in 6 billion years.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

You may have missed it as I gave Dublin times. It may have been over your area slightly sooner if you are Ap Nart.

Is that Alt degrees above the horizon.  Zero would be right at the horizon and 90 would be right above your head?

Yes - the higher the ALT the better the chances of seeing it.

So when does a Nordie from the South Armagh area have to look out to see it?
Careful now

winsamsoon

Yes. will this be visible in the north at any time? or are Nasa discriminating against us too  ;) Hope it's not today as there is a fog all over the place
I never forget a face but in your case I will make an exception.
