Now, back to the point. Criticism is one thing but criticism should be at least proportional to ones knowledge of the subject. I can understand
poeple having an emotional reaction to a bad decision during a game but if you want to make a general statement about the standard of reffing
then , yes, frankly you should shut up till you have at least given it a try.

no, i'm not on a wind-up. The over the top criticism of referees is a pet peev of mine. I've also noticed some of the people most vociferous
on the subject of the games remaining amateur have no problem being u;tra-critical of amateur referees !. The hypocrisy is mind boggling.


Criticism is fine , I've been as pissed off at referees decisions as anyone, and everybody has a right to their opinion. However, commenting on refereees
is not the same as commenting on the games themselves. we have all played but , probably, very few have reffed yet everybody seems to be
an expert.

God I hope so, either that or he's never criticised anything in his life, unless of course he done it himself

There is a world of difference between criticism and sweeping bald statements like 'all refs are shite'.
