Tommy Carr beats the "no confidence" vote in Cavan by 30 to 23 the night.
Still not certain to stay on though they say.

What happens now ?

laoisgaa

At a meeting in Portlaoise tonight, the Laois County Board Executive unanimously backed the reappointment of Sean Dempsey as manager of the Laois Senior Football team for next year.

Dempsey will now require the backing of the O'Moore County's clubs in order to hold his managerial position for 2010.

A scheduled meeting of the Laois County Board is not due to take place until later this month, but it is likely that an emergency meeting will take place within the next ten days to deal with Dempsey's appointment.

Laois crashed out of the 2009 All-Ireland Championship following their Round 2 Qualifier defeat to Down at Pairc Esler, Newry last month

Id say he will stay,he seems to have the backing of the players and that seems to be all he cares about.Although there may be alot of them players not with him next year if he was doing things right.
