Very disappointing for the neutral today. Reality check for Meath.

They were out of their depth a long time before that to be honest. Not sure what they were thinking with all those 2 point efforts early on. Donegal were pretty average first half and still well ahead. Second half a procession. Hopefully Meath can build on their progress over the last couple of months but as it stands they are a long way off it.

Looking forward to the final!

😆
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

Meath overachieved from where they were. Galway should be very annoyed to have bowed out so tamely in quarters.
Donegal were excellent the whole game. Previous games they only played in second half.

Most disappointing set of semi finals I can remember for a long time. Can't argue with the teams in the final though, not sure who could say those aren't the two best teams this year. Should be a cracking contest

Phillo on BBC says Donegal were rootless.

Didn't think they were overly great in the first half tbh, the 2nd quarter especially they were very wasteful. That's the time that Meath should have kicked on and built up a lead when playing with the wind, but their inexperience showed and their shot selection was brutal.

Don't think it would have mattered a bit and Donegal would have powered over them in the 2nd half regardless, but it might have made for more of a contest for longer, and not ended with such a shocking margin

Disappointing. We have a fair bit to go for sure. Shame we couldn't do the day justice.

We tried too often to win clean ball in the middle and got killed and not going for the breaks the way we did earlier in the year. Head scratcher.

Donegal just thinking and playing at different levels to our lads.
It won't be the next manager but the one after that Meath will become competitive again - MO'D 2016

When does youthful exuberance tip into being naive and inexperienced?

Meath had no plan B in attack, no breaking ball game at all and at sea in defence.

Donegal didn't get out of first gear, comfortable in defence and not tested at all.

Not sure any of that will have scared Kerry.

Continues to bug me that swapping jerseys has become a thing.

DnG decent outfit for sure but don't know why they are being so lauded.

Beat 3 x Div 2 teams in Louth, Monaghan and Meath to get to the final.

As handy a set of opponents as there has been in a long time.

I'd say there's plenty there to worry Kerry.

Was our shot selection bad or we just didn't execute? I thought we missed a lot of scorable chances.

Can't wait. Think we will be victorious. Just don't see how Donegal will handle kinsella , Duke , Costello, Morris.
In keoghan and raff we have the players to nullify anything Donegal throw at us.
Could be completely wrong. But honestly can't see anything other than a Meath victory by a few

Some awful shooting in the second half but the two pointer selection was awful in the first.

Donegal are a 29 point better team than Kerry, so they go in MASSIVE underdogs
