G catch a grip, Heslin was one of the more exceptional f/ballers not playing for a top 6 team. Loved to have had him in my team.

Without a doubt one of the best forwards in the last 20 years and great service he gave to Monaghan.  A Happy retirement to him.

Wildweasel74

One of the best forwards ever to come out of Ulster and probably Monaghans best ever player.

A legend of the game

Best wishes in his retirement.

When it came to clutch moments in games few was better than Conor McManus over the last number or years.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Happy retirement Conor.
You were a great one.
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

Conor was the most accurate and consistent mid to long range point kicker from play with both feet I have ever seen.
Came up trumps continuously for Monaghan in vital stages of games. Some man to kick a point when markered tight/ put under pressure.
A legend of the game.

Offaly footballer Nigel Dunne after a career that spanned 15 years.

The 35-year old said he could no longer battle persistent injuries and deprive a younger Offaly player a place on match-day panels.

"I do so with no regrets,"  "I gave it everything I had for as long as I could, and genuinely the body can't go for one minute longer than it has with the load that is required for intercounty football.

"I am a lot happier walking around now these past few days that there is no mental anguish internally. I'm just relieved to have made the call."

Long serving Longford number one Paddy Collum decided to call time on his intercounty senior career which has seen him play 133 times in all competitions (37 Championship, 67 NFL and 29 O'Byrne Cup) and scoring 0-15 between 2012 and 2025.

This is in addition to 7 Championship appearances at U-21 level and 9 at Minor (scoring two penalties on the way to winning the Leinster Minor Championship).

Young enough. Around 28. Has moved to Dublin with work. Transferred to Na Fianna.
