Happy enough with the draw in Lyin. Should've been a better result but could also have been worse after onanas early howler, for 5 or 10 mins they tore at utd and could've got another.
Hojlund or garnacho can't start the 2nd leg. Zirkzee and mainoo in for those 2. Hopefully Diallo will make the bench and de ligt a big loss in defence.

A draw in France would be seen as a good result for most before the game. Probably was United's best away performance in Europe this season and should have won but undone with Onana gifting two goals to Lyon.  Ferguson was ruthless with Jim Leighton way back in 1990 for the FA Cup final replay and Ruben Amorim should do similar for the 2nd leg in Old Trafford but going by his after match comments suggests he won't.

Who is the modern day Les Sealey.  Fergie and Leighton I don't think they ever spoke again.

Literally anything would be better than that fella. See Blaine Hughes named on the bench for the weekend he would do a job at United.

100% agree

The level of incompetence in pro multimillion pound soccer really is staggering

A whole country of GKs here, you'd think at least 2 or 3 would be picked from the GAA scene, Oz style, but for some reason Timmy chocolate wrists prevails

Let's be honest though, as decent as Blaine is he's far off the level of a professional soccer goalkeeper. He'd struggle for a game at an Irish League club.
