I finally took the plunge and watched Spy/Master, a cold war drama series set in Romania in the mid 70s, about the defection of dictator Nic Ceausescu's right hand man. It looked to have all the appeal of a frugal east european communist state paradise, side burns, cigarettes and cheap suits, but it turned out to be very good.

Been watching this Euro 24 show. Started off strong, but there's been a notable drop in the quality of more recent episodes. Still good overall. Though the scriptwriters are stretching credulity a bit much at times. I mean, a goal after 23 seconds? Slovakia beating Belgium? One player having 3 VAR disallowed goals? I mean come on.

Could you not have hidden the spoilers? I was planning on waiting till they had dropped all the episodes and then binge watching.

60% through the book and struggling. It's far too drawn out.

Blitzed through The Bear over the past 2 weeks. Great show. Well performed, with highs and lows. Looking forward to more.

Some deviancy in that show. I haven't watched the whole of it yet but have seen that scene in the sauna

You would have had 1 or 2 real shocking moments a season, now every scene has to shock by the looks of it, this season is much poorer because of this imo
