Advantage doesn't give the player who's earned that carte Blanche within the 5 seconds

My point is that if you are fouled, you should get a free or be allowed to go on if the opportunity is deemed to be more advantageous than the original free.
So, if you manage to get a goal opportunity, that's clearly more advantageous. If you miss that goal opportunity, that should be tough luck and play should continue as normal. I don't believe that you should be presented with a second scoring opportunity for the original foul.
Depends if you're taking your shot off balance with a man hanging off you then thats clearly not advantageous.

There was only one foul before he took too many steps. The needed to call it back before he took the extra steps or give a free out

Crazy but there must be a valid reason why it is Tralee. It is some trek midweek for UUJ in fairness

Would love to know what that reason is!

These final venues are set well in advance and it's regardless of who makes the final, Fitzgibbon final also in Tralee.
Let no-one say the best hurlers belong to the past. They are with us now, and better yet to come

Milltown Row2

Yeah I thought all that was arranged from year to year.

You could have Final next year arranged for Jordanstown and Cork are in the final!

It's not as if they need time off work, well Glass might  ;)

Think it is the supporters or parents he was referring to - crazy journey to undertake midweek

Don't envy them

Blowitupref

The final on Wednesday night and number of players to play for their county teams on Saturday is far from great scheduling either.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Is Glass doing a bona fide degree or is he another perennial student like Jim McGuinness who had more degrees than a compass.

Probably legit enough degree if he couldn't go to university after school due to playing Aussie rules. Sure Niall Loughlin is about 28 but he also done a few years in Australia before hand

Fair point.

Doing accountancy. If he was like mcguinness I think uu would be looking their money back as he has hardly played a game.
