Jeebus Jones gets some stick in comparison to Mata. Great wee player back in the day but hes stole a livin past 4yrs approx.

Discuss. Or not. Dont care 😃

Mata came along with Matic 4 years late, Jones was like big Dunne for City, a liability
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

I think United have identified Mata as a potential director of football or director of some sort.

Mr Google says in the last 4 years he's played 40, 32, 37 and last season 18 times. I'm not sure that qualifies as stealing a living...

A good senior pro to have around the club as he moves into coaching or whatever.

I'm sure someone will be along to call him a dungbag or similar shortly

Bennycake thinks he's shite no doubt

Fair enough. Wonder how many of those were sub appearances. Only posted as id genuinely forgot he was still with yourselves. No doubting he seems to be a nice guy and a decent pro. Id struggle to remember anything of note hes done past couple years

Never fancied Utd to score there tonight. A lot of possession but it was all very one dimensional. Greenwood added a bit of spark and you'd have expected a finisher like him to take that chance.

Martial would make you cry looking at him at times.

Brutal from Utd Tonite. 2 bad cup defeats in a week, not ideal start to the season for ole.

I've always had time for Martial. There's a world class player hiding in there somewhere. But he has given up the ghost altogether in the last 18 months. Probably best for everyone if he moves on as soon as possible.

Not very many of the second string putting their hands up tonight. The lack of depth in midfield is particularly concerning.
Doc would listen to any kind of nonsense and change it for you to a kind of wisdom.

Sancho was poor tonight.  Should be end for Martial. Horrific attitude and no desire to work hard.  Hopefully Cavani will back soon.

Cunny Funt

1-0 defeat in a contest between two 2nd string sides.

Man United weren't shot shy tonight anyway with 27 shots on goal in total. West ham for 87 minutes of that match had one shot on target though they should have made it a 2-0 result with a couple of late opportunities on the counter attack.

De Beek, Dalot, Bailly, Matic played well and Greenwood was lively when introduced.

Dalot is very good going forward.  Van De Beek caught out for goal but was good on the ball.

Martial has always reminded me of Anelka, huge ability but the attitude is not always what it should be.
His body language is awful when he's not tuned in.

You mean apart from the numerous times he was caught in possession, gave the ball away and shot when he should have passed VdB was good  on the ball?

Nope I always like Mata. Should have been used a lot more than he was the  last couple of seasons.  Still a better player than the likes of Fred Matic or VDB

He never did. The lazy hoor. Never warmed to him. The sooner he goes,  the better

Not seen nothing from Sancho yet either. He'd need to get his arse in gear
