Shola looks about 12  :)
Looks no more than 14. Nice moment for the talented teen.

Comfortable win which didn't look likely at half time when Newcastle fully deserved to be level. Still big issues defensively especially from set pieces as seen again tonight. Top scorers in the league it's basically what has United 2nd at the moment.

Maroon Manc

Very poor first hour from United, as usual very poor defending set pieces and crosses but its no surprise when one centre half is hopeless aerially and Wan Bisaka & Matic aren't much better given their size. De Gea again culpable for the goal, he should have saved it, he got of lightly with the pundits.

Not good enough from Martial, he's been poor since the start of the season just doesn't look interested at the moment. On a positive not good to see James have a good week, he's clearly not good enough for United unless he improves  but he's giving United an option which is badly needed given how many games United could have between now and the end of the season.

Lets hope McTominay & Cavani are back for next Sunday, they'll be needed.

Up on till Utd scored the second Newcastle were the better team

This has been the way of it in a lot of games, poor sluggish starts and then a bit of decent play to get them through.

Hard to understand the defending at the moment, it is going to come back and bite them before the end of the season if it isnt sorted and sharpish.

Capt Pat

Well I hope you enjoy your game lads that virgin media are broadcasting live. 4-0 up from the away leg. Could virgin media not have shown the leicester game that is still finely balanced?

Why play Bruno?

Because of injuries, wouldn't have played I'd say if one of McTominay, Pogba, De Beek, Mata was available for selection.

Wan Bissaka starting makes less sense with other options Tuanzebe, Williams on the bench.

Rich Ricci

Underwhelming performance that from both sides. When Bruno isn't firing Utd really have no outlet and look clueless going forward.

Also I think McTominay and Fred has to be one of the most uninspiring midfield partnerships going. Neither of them are that comfortable on the ball and it's not like they're constantly winning the ball pack either. Can't see why Ole continuously picks them both in the big games. Two bang average players along with Dan James who just puts the head down and runs into or kicks it off players.

Clean sheet and a draw away to a in form Chelsea is a decent result and keeps a 6 point gap between the sides.

Like a lot of the top 6 encounters this season defenses on top and neither side did enough to win. Pogba, Cavani available for selection could have proved a difference in such tight contest.

The main taking point in the match was the handball incident in the 1st half. Certainly seen simliar incidents given for and against United but not today.

Would have been a tough decision to give penalty, thought Utd played reasonably well, both teams had chances and a fair result.

Chelsea look to have pushed on from Franks reign but they'll definitely get better once he puts his own stamp on that team with his own players next season.

Leicester seem to be free falling at the minute, they could drop out of top four

Free falling? They've lost 2 league game this year. And have a very nice run of fixtures upcoming.

Lost 2 in a row at home, injuries to Barnes now. Where was Madison today?

They lost at home today. Previous home game they beat Liverpool.
Madisson picked up an injury in their win against Villa last weekend.
Next 3 league games against Burnley , Brighton and Sheffield United.
They may not make champions league - but there are no signs that they are faltering yet.

Another one that got away, I think if Cavani starts that game they win.

It is becoming more and more apparent that a CF is required and has been missing for a long time now.
Martial, Greenwood and Rashford all seem to prefer coming in off the wings, none of them hold the ball up or link the play well.

Has to be a major priority now in the summer to add to Cavani if he stays.
