True although I'm sure you have stopped laughing out loud?

Yea, but then I'm reminded of earlier, then I laugh again.

We'll be fine.

United losing 1-6 at home is anomaly as hasn't happened since 2011. Liverpool losing 4-1 at half time an anomaly as is conceding a hat trick to a player. First time since 2010 since Dimitar Berbatov scored all 3 in a 3-2 win against Liverpool.

As a Liverpool supporter laughing at the shambles that is Manchester United I keep telling yis this

Appoint Pochettino

You can't do anything with a shite manager and a shite board

But you can do something with an excellent manager and a shite board because an excellent manager can come in and change the culture of a club from top to bottom by sheer force of personality

Poch has this

Woodward is so obviously useless that even he may now come to realise this and appoint a proper manager and let him run things

Or perhaps not

Woodward would be right at home in the Tory cabinet, given his ineptness and unsuitability for the job.

Freak thrashings occasionally happen to champion teams as Manchester United know all too well

United were no strangers to getting thrashed in October as happened in 1996 when they shipped 5 at Newcastle and then 6 at Southampton in successive games, Chelsea beat them 5-0 in 1999

Liverpool lost 4-0 at Coventry in December 1983, I'd take what that team ended up with at the end of that season

Manchester United's defeat by Tottenham today was more reminiscent of the 5-0 thrashing Liverpool dished out to Tottenham in December 2013 which did for Andre Villas Boas or the 5-1 defeat Denmark handed Ireland in 2017 which did for Martin O'Neill, a chickens coming home to roost type of defeat, rather than the 6-1 against Manchester City in 2011 which was an anomaly

Certain defeats are very difficult for a manager to come back from and today is definitely one of those for Solskjaer

Capt Pat

Does this United defeat mean Dortmund will squeeze an extra 20 million outof United for Sancho?

Maybe, maybe not. He alone won't change anything unfortunately. Probably become 'deadwood' whenever the next manager comes in.

Whatever about Maguire, just because Eric Bailly is a quick runner, doesn't mean he is in anyway a good defender. Truly awful performance, no defensive mind whatsoever.

Jeepers Creepers

Used to love when Fergies team took the occasional tanking he would stare down the camera in the post match interview and sternly say that it wont happen again. Oh to have those days back.
Sancho wouldnt have made the slightest bit of difference yesterday and the fact Utd havent been openly looking for a centre half really doesn't put any pressure on current defence.
Shaw shouldn't be in the first team again and a few more players could do with bing dropped but the squad isnt strong enough to allow OGS this option.
Read a good quote if Utd were being run as a proper football club that OGS would'nt be the manager but as I said yesterday he can only go if changes above him are made first.

I'd get rid of that lazy hoor Pogba. He's a useless sack of shit.

That back 4 are not as bad as they looked yesterday. They're not good enough to move the team forward and achieve better results that decent cup runs and 3rd place. What happened yesterday was atrocious. Such a collection of calamitous individual errors - it's difficult to comprehend. People always tend to overreact (negatively and positively) but it's quite clear what has happened here. United get back into Champions League (thus complying with sponsorship deal terms) and they stop backing the manager. Reminiscent of the summer before Mourinho's departure. I'd have more sympathy with Ole as pretty much all his signings have been a success.

What happens from here is crucial. International break so United have to get back to brass tacks and start defending as a unit and cut out the individual errors. Get the mindset right - it looks like they're feeling sorry for themselves (thanks Ed Woodward and co).....need to buck up. I think Ole and co will do this and turn it around as they did before. Hoping Cavani might bring something to it and Telles will mean the end of beer keg on legs. I think if Cavani can stay fit he'll have an influence but back four needs to tighten up or it's all over. I think they will - they couldn't keep playing as badly as this.

Even as bad as United currently are it must be said Spurs looked good. Really sharp. Kane, when fully fit, is really a brilliant player.

His mindset is terrible for sure. How long has he left on his contract?

No idea, but who'd want the useless bollix?

Pogba is a very talented player, but he isn't being used to his strengths. In a way he's a victim of his own versatility.
