If any team wants to buy Lindelof in Jan I'll deliver him myself.  Can't believe we passed on the opportunity to buy Michael Keane back to buy that donkey.

Huge game next weekend, lose and United will be out of the title race already if City win next weekend.

I hope there's some good news on the injury front this week, I'd have thought Bailly & Fellaini would be back for the game.

Low key enough tonight, well worth the win. Four of the starters and one sub have come through the United Junior's, impressive performances from McTominey and Axel I thought.

Shaw got 5 mins at the end. I doubt he is gone. 😕

Nice to see Martial and Rashford get game time together and I thought along with Lingard they worked well together.

As the game went on both become more confident, Axel is very comfortable on the ball and it showed with his involvement for the 2nd goal. I'd have him ahead of Lindelof but that won't happen. I can see him going out on loan when Rojo is back, at this stage I'd be surprised if he didn't make it at United. I'd not seen much of McTominay down the years as he had a lot of injuries and I assume going from 5'8' to 6'5 in the space of 18 months didn't help either. He has a chance anyway, he's another one who's very comfortable on the ball but hasn't shown too much of it yet.

Lingard is a far better player when played centrally, he's a waste of time when starting out wide.

Very correct. He's actually really good when played centrally, very hard to contain.

This may be true but in all honesty does any of us think he's long term good enough to play central midfield for Manchester United?

He isn't no. But he is a good option from the bench
He brings pace. Every goal he scores seems to be an important one and also  spectacular. Important squad player.  Sid well last night.

magpie seanie

Central midfield? Huh? He's an attacker.

Ah u know what I meant..

Lingard is never going to be good enough to be consistently first choice but he's a decent backup option when played centrally. I'd probably start him against Spurs and move Mkhitaryan to the right side and drop Mata. Apparently Pogba is back in town, hopefully he can make the bench for next Wednesday. Fellaini's 2 week lay off proving to be more serious, not even back training yet.

Boycey

It was nice of them to keep re-doing the draw for the league cup (or whatever it's called) til they got United the easiest draw. That's what twitter says happened anyways  :D

magpie seanie

How hard is it to do a poxy cup draw without making a hames of it? My suspicion is that they're doing it deliberately to get more publicity.

In regard to what's being said on twitter - why even bother giving United the easiest draw when they tell the refs to let them win anyway?  ;D

Boycey

If they were doing there job right surely they'd have drawn Chelsea and City together to make it easier for us?

I see Kane is out of tomorrows game.
