Next seasons side must be one of the tallest in the clubs history. Set pieces shouldn't be an issue anyway.

Most expensive too . . . United no longer able to look down their nose at other clubs spending!!!

United spending their own money though.  Still, City have spent a lot more than the rest this summer again.

Oh look they still think they can look down their noses at everyone else because it's "our own money"

What utter nonsense!!
It's complete nonsense.
What amuses me with anyone who makes that stupid argument they seem to forget that City have won the Premier League twice and have been in champions league regularly  and also have the same share of the TV money so they would have actually generated a lot of their own cash these past 10 years or so.
It's  a ridiculous argument.

City have spent well over £1 billion the past ten years.  That doesn't correlate with the above.  United have had to start spending to keep up with the rest, but at least its money they have genertaed over the years from expanding the club off the pitch due to on-field success.

It's the way United fans say it like it's a badge of honour is what makes it so funny.
Shows how far the club have fallen really..
Son.
United used to win major titles. Now they are happy having the most twitter followers or spending "their" own money on over priced Chelsea rejects.

Exactly. It's the nonesene that it  make a difference where the money comes from that makes me laugh.

I really dont think anyone with half a brain cares.. Seems to have been a rant on here about spending and its ran ever since with various ones winding each other up....

Hectic

I think Man U's debt, while colossal, is smaller as a proportion of their annual turnover when compared to the majority of the clubs in the top two leagues in England. They are an absolute power house at generating revenue and as such I wpuld have them over City or Chelsea who are not far off financial doping. Granted Chelsea have reigned it in a bit but they came from being a ramshackle to Champions through their sugar daddy.

Why would anybody give out about the spending? Stupid in the extreme, none of the players in the EPL or any other league are worth the money paid to them...

Manchester United pay over the odds on players because Ed Woodward hasn't a clue what he is doing and how he's still over club transfers is stupid in the extreme.

Why do the rest of the teams pay over the odds then?

The rest can still get the odd bargain here or there something Manchester United use to do regularly.

If there's been a bargain joining a top half premiership club this season, I haven't seen it.

The unhinged spending of the last decade by United, Chelsea and City have dug a grave for every other team in the league.

Kevin Moran on the half time coverage from the Aviva. He still looks like he could tog out at 61.. some warrior he was.

Friendly or important match?

I'm going with friendly as you would much rather have 3 points Sunday than a win tonight.. I believe there's extra time tonight should it be necessary, could certainly do without that in the heat and humidity in Skopje..
