Man United playing in Amsterdam tomorrow night and Ryan Giggs left at home.

Every paper going on about appearance number 900 today as well. any reason?
Too old for consecutive games and too much temptation in Amsterdam.
Why, has he family there?

West Ham United's Ravel Morrison has been charged under FA Rule E3 for use of abusive and/or insulting words including a reference to a person's sexual orientation. The charge follows recent comments made by the former Manchester United midfielder on Twitter. Morrison has until 1600 GMT on 17 February 2012 to respond to the charge.

Didnt take Ravel long settling in  ???

Pity the FA and the media weren't as quick to sort out the homophobic chanting from United last week, and the sick chants at Frank Lampard.

The press concentrated on the Chelsea fans booing of Rio Ferdinand, but ignored the wrong doings from the away section! Suited their agenda I suppose.

Good Morning Manchester, it's Thursday!

:D  It is the european version of the carling cup that Liverpool are desperate to win.

Utd will use it as a wee run out for the reserves as they did with the CC.

I wouldn't say so. Fergie would love to win this trophy. Win this and sure you get a stab at the Champions League winners. After all the Cup Winners Cup is what it's all about  :P

It's all about TV money at this stage.

See Patrice going to be rested after a tough week, more the fact it's against Suarez ex club I think.

Carmen Stateside

By the way it's the right move because he would have been in for some serious stick from them.  Suarez was and probably still is a hero to them.
Hoping both Manchesters do well in this to be honest.  Poor performances could lead to English clubs losing a spot in champions league.

Rubbish. On that logic he would not have played against Liverpool twice since. More due to the fact that Fergie is giving a few a rest as number 20 is much more important than the EL.

Jesus that first tackle is a horror show!
