A few years back I took great pleasure in filling in every box and giving Ian Paisley my last preference in a European election.

I'd rather my vote to just vanish into thin air than for the rest on the ballot to benefit from it if it was transferable.

Kind of hard to gauge with times as some have to stay in lane and some haven't and then there's the extra incentive of being on the last etc. Great running from both whatever and there's a bit of depth in the 400 womens with Healy and Becker too so who knows with the 4 x 400 women team if they have one in. If bol running gold very tough for adeleke but definitely a huge medal prospect at least.

Bit nervous for mageean - I hope she finally gets her gold but she'll not be used to being the target. I have a feeling if Sarah healy can manage her nerves she is a potential medal prospect too but I think a lot of things have to go right.

(Also great to see Tommy Barr get a medal. Seems like a nice guy who's worked hard at it for years and always performs above himself when it comes to championships)

Great job Collie McDonald in the McDonough Cup final. He got high praise from commentary team on RTE Radio.

Did very well and that last one which the lad was into his 8th step before he blow for over carrying couldn't complain when looking back.

I was calling him all sorts but aye on the replay he was right.

It's a big story for Sky News. They will run with it all day. You have to be happy for them and their families, even if you have no time for the regime they are part of.

Mayo v Armagh I believe.  All too easy for Mayo in this game.

That's tough on Laois, in an evenly matched game the fine margins in winning and losing make the difference

The wide count by Laois was the losing of the game..

I'm seriously concerned for Jaralth come the final of senior football final! I think his head will actually blow up come the speech

Jarlath tries to hard. No mention of Laois (from what i remember).

He did mention Laois, and talked about their comeback I. The second half from 7 points down
