Pa Cronin named in the team and if he's namednin the team I'd be 99% sure he's playing, JBM doesn't do "dummy teams".

Personally I'd prefer to see Paudie O'Sullivan start instead but you'd think Pa will cause more problems for Paudie Maher. Having said that I can't see Maher starting full back, probably James Barry will. I think Corks chances revolve around their ability to keep Bonner Maher quiet. This will be Mark Ellis' biggest challenge and if he can do it, I can only see a Cork win.

Looking forward to it anyway, should be a great game. Up the Rebels!

I have a soft spot for Arsenal and hope they do well but Im totally bemused by Wengers buys this year.

They absolutely positively needed a mature, ready to go centre half, right back, defensive midfielder and proven goal scorer.

They got two right backs and another winger.

AS is NOT the player Arsenal needed to spend big on. He did little for Barca and does not tend to score big numbers.

If they go into this season with Giroud as the only senior striker and Arteta as the DM they will be lucky to get 4th.

There's still time and hopefully the cash keeps being spent but it all seems a bit odd so far. Was AS the only 'big' name that would really come to Arsenal?

Martinez or Cavani, Carvalho and Agger would be a start....Reus would be icing on cake

Sanchez got 19 goals from the eing last season, not bad for a player who doesn't score in huge numbers. You're right, though, they could definitely do with a DM and CB.

Mojopin Studios from Armagh are developing 'All Star Gaelic Football' for PC, Xbox One and PS4. They've had Darren Hughes and Mattie Donnelly involved doing Motion Capture and they say it's going to be the best gaelic football game ever. That wouldn't be too hard as the last one was a disaster. I'm very excited for this game. It could be a great promotion for the game.

Do they have the official license? If the GAA and GPA have any sense they'd be giving it for a pittance. A decent game would promote the game in ways other advertising and initiatives never could. The previous games didn't even have player names, just the stadia and the counties. Even if they don't have the license they can at least use the public domain county council logos and colours and names of the counties.

Last game was a re-skin of a rugby game by Australian developers - I'd have much higher hopes of a game from Ireland, the knowledge needed to get the basics right should be readily available. A bit of passion alone would put it far above the soulless experience that was GAA Football 1 and 2.

How far into development is it? How big a studio is Mojopin?

And please, please, please get Willie Hegarty on commentary, he'd probably do it for an Everton season ticket too.. ;D

It's not that long in development as far as I know. They said on Twitter they're working on licenses. Find them on Facebook, they're looking for help rating players.

Theyve said on twitter they hope to expand into hurling (handball and rounders too, actually) Laoislad.

Can't  wait. I was very confident of a Cork win after Tipp beat Dublin, but as the game gets closer I'm getting less confident. I think Tipp have one very good game in them amd if it comes on Sunday they could beat us. What does everyone on here think?

Fewer penalties will be scored now. If it is adhering to the original rule then the rule gives the advanatage  to the defenders. This encourages cynical fouling. The number of players on the line needs to be reduced by at least one with this new rule.

I would love to see England go well would be a great to see them in a semi or final,I think they will do alot better than people think perhaps a quarter final at least. :)

Bosnia will be the surprise team of the tournament.Possible quarter finalist.

Tbh I think England will struggle to get out of the group. Italy have looked poor in the warm up games but they have a good few quality players (Balotelli, Pirlo, Marchisio etc.). Uruguay don't appear to be the force they were 4 years ago but in Suarez ( if he's fit) they have one of the best players on the planet. Not a big fan of Cavani from what I've seen but apparently he's quite good. So I think England could struggle.

Brilliant goal but I cant see how no Crok player took him down.

It was Limerick in the Gaelic Grounds in 2011. I remember toward the end of normal time Walsh caught a puckout in the middle of the field, turned and hit the equaliser, that was an unbelievable point. He didn't really stand out during the league and he might be better off in the forwards than midfield but sure we'll see on Sunday. Harnedy at 14 is a genius move imo. He is the ball winner they need in the fill forward line but I have a suspicion Conor Lehane could end up playing there with Harnedy wing forward. In fairness Cork's defense is looking better this year. Mark Ellis is a serious talent and Cahalane and Eoin Cadogan returning add more depth to the backline. The most exciting thing about Cork on Sunday, though is Alan Cadogan who looks a serious talent and really caught the eye during the league (in fairness that was division 1b) and I'm looking forwardbto seeing him against better opposition.

I don't really know much about Waterford but from what I've been reading I expect Cork to come through with a few points to spare.

Anyone else watch it last night?

It was on Larry Tompkins, a very enjoyable episode.

I always find him a very underrated player, can't think of anyone who could kick a dead ball longer.

Hard to believe he ruptured a cruciate in an AIF and played on!

And he played with a pulled hamstring the year before. Is it stupidity or something to admire him for? Probably both.

I think later in the year, as the games get bigger, you'll have players pulling forwards down and taking the black card if they have to but you'll also probably see referees letting players off if they're not the last man.
