nothing will change until a politician is involved in a crash

This isn't being held up by politicians. Its being held up by greedy, sectarian landowners.

A microcosm of everything that is wrong with this shithole. Nothing ever gets done. Everything is green and orange. Absolute morons elected to high office coupled with incompetent wankstains in the civil service. A clusterfuck of shitness that we must live under.

There was some boos when Harman was teeing off at the 1st - bit pathetic

First time I've heard the negativity around Harman. Is it just because he's American or have I missed something?
There was stuff trending on social media on Friday and Saturday about an interview he did previously where after a bad day he said we went and shot a pig and a turkey, and how said he's 'a hunter by nature'.
Apparently there's pics he has put up on the internet of him standing over his kills.

When he hit it into the shit at hole 3 on Sunday after a bogey on the 2nd I thought he was gonna blow up. He produced a serious up and down and never really looked back. Responding to most bogeys with birdies. He played really well. I wanted him to blow up just to make it more interesting. Was a boring enough Open.

Subjected myself to about 20 mins of the France v Jamaica game. It isn't great stuff. Very hard to watch. A lot of poor 1st touches. Not for the faint hearted.

Also I see Canada have the first Trans AND non-binary player. How you can be both I don't for the life of me know. More nonsense.

Hard to love Dublin. Everything costs a fortune. O'Connell street is a no go area. Lots of undesirables. Wee bit like NYC and Times Square in the 80s & 90s. Does Dublin have a Mayor? What is his or her role and responsibilities? Hard to eradicate crime but tourist spots should be free of litter, piss and crime.

Pure hyperbole

Absolutely not. The last time I walked down it we were staying in The Gresham with the kids and some friends from America. Homeless, Drug addicts, stench of piss, litter strewn everywhere and the line at the GPO for I assume food parcels. It was early evening 5pm or so and we felt genuinely unsafe.

Sorry that made you feel unsafe  ::)

Don't be a w**ker.

::)  ;D

Someone called you out and that's the best you can come up with.

Yes. That wasn't what made it feel unsafe. But you knew that. You just choose that. I think it makes you come across as a w**ker.

How can Fernandes be considered Captain material? A bigger whinging **** I've yet to see, few people annoy me in life generally but he's such a bellend, a Yap, a diver,  he seems to criticise team mates on the pitch from what I can see. Just seems a horrible person to me. In a team of good footballers I don't see him as a eal leader tbh.

Appreciate your input Harry.

The Tyrone website shows the games as going ahead but if you click on Cookstown it brings up their u14, u16 & u18 games as postponed.
I am not sure how the same website can give to different results depending on how you search but it is a mess.
Who is actually responsible for the website?
Even scrolling down through the competitions there is no consistency in naming them.
Under 14 League grade 2
Under 14 grade 1 League
Under 14 grade 3a League
Under 14 gd3 development League

Absolute mindfuck that website.

Drugs need legalising and regulating the world over.

The war on drugs has failed drastically. Is it not $trillions they've spent in the states on it and way worse off - deaths, jails full etc., fentanyl, which is instantly deadly for some, is rife in plenty of areas and spreading to other parts of the world too.

Agree. Legalise, tax and regulate. Drugs won the war on drugs a fair while ago.

So, the province of Victoria have told the British Empire to f-off with their Commonwealth Games.

Just like the good old empire, "common wealth" means what's yours is mine and what's mine is mine.

Should England pay for the games?

Should the tax payer pay for it?

There's no upside. A huge number of bullshit white elephant stadia, built in shite part of town that inevitably cost far to much to build and maintain. Cities look at London, Barcelona, Athens and just think this is not worth it. Only countries who can save loads on labour and have huge amounts of petro dollars are interested in these events now.

Basic Maths and English is a sign of your intelligence. If someone applied for a job with me and their CV was poorly written I'd immediately discard it. We also need basic Maths in our line of work, calculating percentages and costs. Nothing overly taxing but being able to know how to do the sums even if you use a calculator to do it.
Degrees are a mark or level indicator of your ability. That's why people choose to do them even if they don't necessarily use every single module. Some of the shite we were taught in Queen's was frankly ridiculous.
Having said all that I employ people with and without a 3rd level education in the same roles and my best performer is someone who left school after A-Levels.

Onana deal signed and sealed. Eyes now on Hojlund.

What's this gk  like? I  never seen him play

Didn't catch the champions league final against city then?
Or the champions league classic against Spurs in the 2019 semi final. Ajax would have cruised into the final if Onana hadn't decided to make a game of it by going for a ball his defender was about to clear, colliding with the defender, failing to claim the ball gifting Spurs a goal and a route back into the game.

Then there is his 9 month doping suspension. An accident according to him
Why would a Goalkeeper need to dope!  Sounds like a bit of a character !

He'll need a good start. If he makes a few mistakes the pressure will be on.

Jonny Evans on his way back on a short term deal. If Harry Maguire doesn't get the message now he never will lol.

Hard to believe he's 8 years gone from Utd.

Should never have sold him. That shithead Van Gaal and Giggs. Did untold damage to the club after the disaster that was Moyes.
