City had players sent off in a few games this season though they haven't collapsed like they have in that 1st half.

Arrested for assaulting a young woman apparently.

If it was anyone bar Downing you would be worried but he can't beat anyone on the field nevermind the street. I think this will be something out of nothing in the end up. Bad press week though.

Silver lining of Kompany sending off is he will miss the Cup game during the week.
Big bonus.

Fair f**ks to him, no point in earning all that money and not being able to enjoy it ha ha

maybe so, but not before a game which they subsequently lost

It wasn't before a game, it was before training... It was Christmas time
Have to do what whiskey nose tells them. They know what happens if they don't.
Training is counted as work, most of us would be fired if unable fulfill duties at work due to a huge hangover.

Couple of the Liverpool journos saying story in tomorrows Irish Star about Young Flanagan, maybe going to declare for the Republic.

That would be nice, all great Liverpool teams had an Irish man, and regularly FBs, Finnan, The Gaffer, Lawernson(albeit a CB)

Hopefully those goals will do Downing and AC the world of good in terms of confidence.  2 good finishes

Don't forget "Philly Bebb", as Charlton used to say

I had forgotten that dark period until now, surely the fact that Liverpool signed Mickey the Monkey is hard proof that the club is not racist!

:o

Look at those ears!!!!!!!!
Looks more like Bale than Babb.

Believe all is not sweetness and light behind the scenes. Jones not a very popular player in the changing rooms. Was starting to believe all the hype about the next great English superstar.
Where do you get all this belief?

Why would lfc apologise to anyone?
Liverpool football club are bigger than one player & in a season or two that one player will be playing for another club. Should apologise to the genuine supporters how poorly they handled the situation.

If they genuinely believe Suarez' version of events, why would they apologise for supporting him?

Supporting him yet Liverpool chose not to appeal it. Someone needs to apologise for those two poorly written statements & silly t-shirt support.
