This is a massacre. road crash TV at its best, don't know how Sky gonna talk this game up, the Ukraine was putting it up more to Russia earlier in the year than Offaly are to kilkenny here.

Brian Whelan retired 15yrs and he could go out and put on a better showing from the offaly lads, bet Sky wish they showed that c(before hand perceived) crap Antrim V Fermanagh game last week now.

A big day in historical terms and one which is never forgot by the people of France, Important in world war two terms to open a second front and take the pressure of the Russians who had gainer the upper hand on the germans by this stage but had a appalling casualties list to go with the hard fought victories, this not as not the most important battle of world war 2 but remembered most for the largest naval operation ever witnessed.

Hard to say what was the most important battle of WW2, Stalingrad, D-Day, battle of the bulge, tobruk or the Battle for the Philippines, to me if the Germans had won the battle of Kursk, they probably would have toppled Russia and the world may have been a different place today

There nobody as defensive as Donegal, on a couple of occasions 15 men inside there own half, thought they were tryng to beat the off side trap in soccer to be honest

A famous dutchman man noted one time if a goalkeeper was any good he be playing out the field (talking about soccer at the time of course)

Christ bad enough letting one village idiot onto the Nolan show but to have one in the crowd too and what  a p***k he was, total slabber, lol Northern Ireland has had the Irish Open, G8, Giro, Titanic 100 hundred year anniversary, but all we are know for abroad is the culture of gay bashing, sectarism, anti catholic hatred in the form of orange marches and intimidation from so called Christians.

Recently we had the honour of add Polish bashing to the collection, just when we thought these clowns couldn't get any worse they add Muslims to the collection now, bet all Jewish people are ducking for cover, there barely anybody left to hate. this man sounds like one of those crusaders in the film "Kingdom of Heaven" and he would not have looked out of place on the early crusades.Just born a 1000 years too late.

For all the bad things he says Muslims have caused, any chance some one remind him the 2 biggest wars of the 20th century mostly involved Christian countries, the biggest man made cause of lose of life.

Naw Fuzz its like me, that game practically put me to sleep the day, though i remember it for one piece of magic from Murphy on the sideline, knew he put in over even before he hit it, had a great view sitting directly behind when he hit it

That style of play wouldn`t beat Dublin, Dublin are very direct with a forceful direct half back line, a wrecking ball in midfield that goes direct all the time, plus pace and power on the wings with Connolly and Flynn, and the scoring power up front, Donegal played powerful well for 15mins after half time, Dublin play that pace for the whole game. Donegal today looked more like the team from 2011 than 2012, That defensive system will get you so far, but only that,

I think what fuzzman means is that Donegal play it to the extreme, that could have been a classic game the day if both teams went flat out playing the type of football we seen in the league. Derry totalled reverted to a defensive system they havent used since 2010 but dont have the players to carry out this type of game.

Not long in, brutal game of football as expected, Derry should have been farther ahead at half time, Doherty getting hurt early was a big loss for us. Donegal came out with a blitz at the start of the 2nd half, again Derry didnt slow it down to take the momentum out of Donegal. I was seating 2 from the front row at the 45 for the sideline Murphy took. Said the the lads with me , he point this with the outside of this boot, wasn't even going to go for it to McGuiness told him to go for it, Mighty score from a mighty player. I have already said on here on another thread he the best player in Ireland earlier in the year. Thought Donegal could pip us going in to the game the day. But when u 2 points up at half time, probably on top in a number of areas, i thought Derry would push on to win, they seemed to drop the heads when Donegal went 5 up, I never understand that, Tyrone never drop the heads in similar circumstances.

You know she can present  GAA if she well capable, but i have doubts she could name the Dublin midfield, who Mark Poland plays for, whos martin Dunne etc, could she name the players of her own county?
