McCanns ban covers all codes, club and county.

I assume there will be no more games (league or championship - Div 1) until tyrone are out. Am I right in saying that all the starred games have been played?

As long as Tyrone don't get stuffed on Saturday, I think there has been enough progress in this team for Mickey Harte to remain in charge and to develop them over the next couple of years.

Was there a big of a fracas at the dromore clonoe game yesterday or was it something in nothing have heard a few different reports on my rounds this morning

Come on now!! Dromore wouldn't get involved in a fracas. It was probably more of a melee.

Tommo apologies if you think my post was condoning the actions of the omagh official as it most certainly wasn't. hitting any man a punch on a football field wether you think your right or wrong should never ever be tolerated by anybody. the referee was correct and dealt with the incident accordingly as sludden would have been sent off for inciting the melee in the first place never mind his retaliation. stepping over the line was referencing his actions not the physical action of stepping over the line if that makes sense. Im sure stal mcsorley when he has time to reflect today knows he was wrong to strike sludden and I hope the killyclogher man is equally as reflective as you seem to be implying his striking and subsequent punishment was a lesser crime. a punch is a punch. no example to children by either man. time the gaa  got serious and  rid our games of this nonsense once and for all. I also am man enough to realise that my use of the word karma referencing the best player on the pitch Ciaran mclaughlin being taken out by no 10 was inflammatory and does nothing but deepen the chasm. move on please the game is over and both individuals will have to suffer the consequences.

Its hard to move on when you come out with such nonsense. How did Sludden incite the melee? Did the Omagh official not incite the incident by entering the field of play and kicking the ball away. By the way, it wasn't a melee. The man issue here is not whether anyone struck. They both did and in the rules of the game, that is a red card. However, you seem to suggest that both parties were equally guilty. In my view that is wrong as your esteemed club official entered the field, got involved with a player and tried to influence the game and then struck the player. These are not normal circumstances and need to be dealt with accordingly. The actions of your club representative potentially influenced the game.  I think Redhaddefender has dealt with the issue re: McLaughlin.

Seen the incident, man from omagh (mcsorley is he?) is a prat. Sludden was just right
Certainly not condoning the incident, in fact it was ridiculous thing to be at. I'm a bit surprised though that so many people seen it happen when there was a small crowd at the game.
How did you see the incident White Goodman, where you there ?

Well I was there and I'm neither Killyclogher or Omagh. Whatever about shouldering, ball being kicked away wtc, the guy on the omagh bench should not have got involved and he certainly through the first punches. As someone said above to absolute disgrace walking off laughing his head up whilst covered in blood. Its understandable for players to be fired up and incidents occurring but for some idiot to walk on to the pitch and start throwing punches at someone more than half his age is a disgrace.

Too many tubes on the sideline constantly at it and I don't understand how someone in the club doesn't have words with them as they are an embarrassment more than anything to the clubs reputation. In saying that, if someone fires a shoulder into you they deserve a drive to the head.

Are you serious??!!! How many times in a game, do people shoulder each other, but realise the boundaries. For a start, the official should not have been on the pitch. He certainly should not have kicked the ball away. Even though the player shouldered him, his reaction was not in keeping with the shoulder. Anyway, never mind all this, he should be nowhere near a football pitch. he is a liability and should receive a long ban. It would be good to hear that Omagh had banned him from the club independently.

Have to agree. Plus McSorley showed no remorse. Was laughing and joking as he walked to the stand.

bit of a crazy action all round tommo 2. both individuals hardly covered themselves in glory have a lot of sympathy with the player he was aggresively attempting to get the ball but stepped over the line with his actions as did the omagh official. ref left with no option both deserved what they got, killyclogher will feel agrieved with the sanction but he the player left the ref no option strike and your off, maybe a bit of karma for omaghs no 5 being struck bout 5 mins earlier and the ref chose to ignore it. both teams seriously understrength and reflected in an error strewn contest. wee cup of tae and a sandwich would have sorted out the sour taste.

How does a man step over the line when he is being attacked by a reserve manager who shouldn't even be inside the wire? was a act of self defense as the manager struck the player first and went to do it again only the player had to react and defend himself.

Not the first time that the manager has been involved in some hanlon, seems a regular occurrence

Not sure how anyone from Omagh can condone what happened. The KC player acted in self-defence when he was punched. I would have thought Omagh people would have come out strongly against what happened and the player involved, but it seems OSE is condoning the action.

Strange incident at Omagh Killyclogher game today. KC had a free before half time and went to get ball to hit it quick. Part of omagh management team kicked the ball away to slow game down. The kc player retrieved the ball, shoulders the omagh official to get him out of the way, who subsequently punched the player. The player retaliated and hit him back. The ref sent off the kc player and sent the omagh official to the stand. Have to say, it left a sour taste.

Great 2nd half by Killyclogher. Mind you, they were awful in the first half. Ciaran McGinley was obviously intent in missing the first round of the championship next year.

It seems like Omagh could be a different class to everyone else. Everyone thought this is a very open championship, but when u look at that omagh team, they look brilliant. Can never remember a Carmen team exiting the championship so tamely.

Too much talk of Killyclogher beating Errigal.

Errigal by 6.

From what I can see, everyone is saying its a 50:50 call.
