Yep, that Tattyreagh man had the Kerry defence so well drilled, however, just too good for us today, and well done Kerry.

Tattyreagh??

Paddy Tally, yes, long past time he returned to the Tír Eoghain fold, IMHO.

Panic bought and ended up with row O in Davin with two very young kids now when I investigate looks like View would have been better further back and we are not likely to be covered FML.

Wonder will it be easy to move back on the day

You could try the FB group "GAA Croke Park Ticket Exchange", and try your luck at a swap there, just don't post the request, rather keep an eye out for offerings.

How genuine is that?
Fixtures made middle of the day yesterday yet there were tickets being offered on that shortly after?
Why would you buy tickets at 2pm and be selling them at 3?

No complaints from any of the users, and ours is not to reason why.

Kerry couldn't beat us in the Championship in the Noughties, we couldn't beat them in the Tens, and this is now our decade again, with the Kingdom unable to turn us over in the Twenties.

Sin é.  ;)

Meyler neutralised Eoghan Bán, no easy feat, and the way Donegal targeted him in the second half (around his head in particular) would suggest that he deserved MOTM, IMHO.

Morgan's some clown!

He has one more Celtic Cross than any one of your lads, some clown indeed.

Has anyone ever visited the transfers and sanctions section of the main GAA.ie website? https://www.gaa.ie/the-gaa/rules-regulations/transfers-and-sanctions
On there you could view live inter-county transfer lists and foreign sanctions.
The link to view these however seems to be broken. Anyone know what has happened?

It doesn't seem to be working for me either. A pity as I always found it interesting to have a browse of it from time to time.

Should be getting this option, which seems to limit access now to the following:

Accessing the Player Transfer System (Club and County Secretaries only)

A Club or County Secretary can access the Player Transfer System by visiting pts.gaa.ie and entering his/her 7 digit Membership Number and Password. For more information, please refer to the user guides in the downloads section on this page.

Its the actual live transfer list that i was referring to. The pop up states "This link has been disabled.
Sorry, access through this link has been removed by admin policy. Please contact the person who shared it with you."

Ah, OK.

Ulster dogfight, a win's a win, feck it anyway!
Far from it,
more of a 6 county simulation fest than an ulster dogfight.

Indulge in your partitionist mindset if you wish, it was still two neighbouring Ulster teams, sin é.

Oshea looking up the rule book to see what subcategory infraction the foul falls under. Lol he dropped his knees on a man's face

No drop from what I saw.
If they show a drop fine but I've yet to see it..

He was caught, dropping his full weight through his knee.

48 mins played a penalty goal for Kerry, the foul looked outside the area. 1-10 to 0-10 and Cork down to 14 men with a black card.

That ref just can't help himself -- needs to be a talking point.

It can be outside the box and a penalty though did they not say? If it's a clear goalscoring opportunity, which I'm not sure it was

Definitely wasn't a clear goal scoring opportunity.

There's nothing in the rules about it having to be a clear goal scoring opportunity.

I don't think anyone can make the case that there wasn't a chance of a goal in this situation given the lack of Cork's cover and the fact that Geaney has scored a number of goals against Cork over the years.

Gough got this spot on imo.

Kerry fairly unimpressive bar Clifford (really can't see an All-Ireland in them) and Cork while they got close on the scoreline are still miles off being a top team.

Quote5.41 Notwithstanding provisions of existing Playing Rules 2.2 Exception (i), 5 and specifically 5.40, if one of the following infractions-
(a) To deliberately pull down an opponent (5.10) or
(b) To deliberately trip an opponent with hand (s),arm, leg, or foot, (5.11) or
(c) To deliberately collide with an opponent after he has played the ball away or for the purpose of taking him out of the movement of play (5.12)  is committed on an attacking player who or, in the case of a Rule 5.12 (Football) Infraction, his team, is denied of a goal-scoring opportunity, as defined in Important Terms and Definitions 9, the following penalties shall apply:
(i) A Penalty Kick shall be awarded to the team affected.
(ii) The offender shall be issued with a Black Card and be sent to the Sin Bin for 10 minutes.

Quote9. GOAL-SCORING OPPORTUNITY (Denial of)

In the context of Temporary Rules  5.45 (Hurling)/5.41 (Football)

A situation requiring each of the following criteria:
(i) The attacking player fouled, as specified in these Temporary Rules, shall be in possession of the ball, except in the case of Rule 5.12 (Football).
Possession shall include a player being in control of the ball as specified in any one or more Rule 1-The Play sub-sections 1.3,1.4,1.7
(Hurling); 1.4,1.5 (Football).
(ii) The location of the infraction shall be either:
(a) Inside the 20-metre line, but as a 'rule of thumb' not within 25 metres infield of each sideline or
(b) Within the semi-circular Arc.
(iii) In the opinion of the Referee, the player fouled or, in the case of a Rule 5.12 Infraction, his team, had and was denied of the opportunity to score a goal when the infraction was committed.

Nothing definitive there, Gough needs to be a talking point, simple as.
