Seeing these role plays makes you realise how brutal it was. As your man said, imagine leaving your home knowing you will never see it again

Did you notice one man in the line up refused to face the tricolour during the anthem - Morrow, the goalscorer. Thought that was bad form.

I noticed that too. Where's he from?
Hes from Dungiven, well just outside the town, think maybe the son a protestant farmer

In terms of the most talented footballer id definitely say Tohill, Mc Keever was the best at what he did, but cornerbacks dont need much footballing ability, they can go whole matches without kicking the ball, maybe touching it 3 times and have a good game. So for that reason i wouldnt vote a corner back as the 'best footballer'. When Mc Keever did play out the field for dungiven he was very good though. Fergal Doc and Paddy Bradley will be in this list in 15 years time as well, and Bradley will get more votes than Brolly.

Have no Bellaghy posters been on complaining that the most successful team in Derry Club History have no names on the list.

In terms of pure technical footballing ability it has to be Gooch. This season cavanagh of course, but if you look over the last 5 or 6 years i think gooch has been better than him. I cant believe people are saying names like Coulter and Mc Conville, they havent even been the best forwards in ulster in the last 5 years, people like McDonnell and Bradley have outshone them.

In Tesco the weekend before last they had 20 bottles of Miller fo €18 plus 25% back on your clubcard  ..... means the bottle worked out at just over 67c per bottle which means i'd want to be drinking about 75 bottles of Miller in the pub for my €50  ...... hmmm
Everyone knows you could buy a carryout cheaper, the whole point is getting out

I spent €100 on sat night out so i welcome this. The price of drink in the south is ridiculous, well the price of everything is ridiculous but especially alcohol

After turning 30 I found going out 3 nights in a row beging to get physically impossible while trying to get up for work 5 morning in a row following.  Now I've gone over the 40 mark it's one night only at a weekend and I try to make that a Friday nite so I'm fully recovered by monday!
To be fair i dont think I could go out 3 nights in a row and get up at 5am when i was 18.

Read an excellent book about the congo last year, it was on the bestseller rack in easons 'Blood River - A Journey To Africa's Broken Heart' a true story about an english reported travelling through the country. Would recommend it to anyone who has an interest in the congo.

Nothing to do with spelling, just funny. At the jtown bus stop outside queens a couple of years ago, 'dont forget your crayons' i later found out a prominent member of the board was involved in it.

I enjoy watching any soccer match at any level. The point has already been made but we are comparing local soccer players to superstars in the premier league. Why do people on here watch their junior clubs play gaa, when the standard is appaulling compared to a county match.

Also if the gaa was as big worldwide as soccer, we'd probably be saying the standard of county matches in Ireland is terrible.
