Donaghmore come into the back of this game suffering their most recent defeat against a overtly physical Killclogher team that are not far away from the top 4 teams in the county.  Donaghmore are rebuilding - their year will not be this year, but we will try to at least compete with an experienced Killyxclogher team that has been there and have taken a championship 5 years ago.  To put this win into context Mickey Coleman interviewed this week was talking about winning championships whilst referring back 10 years.  Its 10 years since expectations have been so realistic in Donaghmore, but we do understand where we are and we know where we are going but this Thurdsay may be a little much to ask the young lads.

Cluain Eo v Aireagal Chiaráin @ Carrickmore 8.15pm      

Errigal are the ewquivalent of a GAA PLC - Information is leaked to the press through chatboards etc in the week up to the big game - all to establish competitive advantage for one reason or another.  Errigal Spin is already rife about injury.  Clonoe must put that out of their mind to take Errigal this year.  When any other player in a club team gets injured clubs dont shout about it in the week before a big match - Errigals injuries tend to be the worst , the most devastating and the most talked about in the county  - then they just beat you with one of their many replacements.  I just think that Clonoe would probably deserve to take Errigal but that Errigal will be harder, faster fitter and can influence the referee that little bit more.

Coalisland to finally get a cahnce to ease a littl pain for last years final defeat.  Perhaps the first step on the recovery for the thus far damp squib blues.  Killyman need to realise that its only 15 men against 15 instead of talking up near achievements or near misses.  Failure is failure.  You are not defeated by anyone you fail to win yourself.,

May I - Omagh for a real crack at this one and possibly a draw or a win.  Mc Ginns system is impresssive but surely Omagh have now had time to study this.  the shock of the round.

Ill actually tip agyaran for this - on the balance I think they are playing fairly well this year and with Marty P anything is possible.

Lochmacrory are facing into the abyss this season,   are they going to jump in like lemmings or finally take a bit of a stand against their neighbours - cant see it.  

Im with you lads - this shouldnt have changed by July 13th but Im also now going to go one further and predict that it will be the same story on the 19th as well.  Hows that for ballsy prediction.  By the way this Saturdays  lotto numbers will be 1, 7, 11, 25, 35, 18 and the bonus 12.  If we all go and spend a £1 on this this saturday night then subject to the big win we can all  share the big one.  Think what you could do with it.  Imagine eh.....

Its 22 years since Kerry last beat Tyrone, 13 years since the mighty dubs last beat Tyrone and its 51 years since Louth last beat Tyrone in the championship.  To put this game into context psychologically Kerry couldnt take Tyrone in a game of marbles,  and certainly the dirty dubs just want to fight us in the league anmd bend the knee gracefully in the championship, so how can we expect a Louth team to compensate for 51 years of pain against the redhand men on the 13th.    Therefore its a a dream draw for Harte and Tyrone fans.  Louth gave Tyrone great trouble twice a couple of years ago but have since went back.  For Louth to give Tyrone trouble a third time particularly when they look so stagnant and uncompetitive would cement in many doubters minds that this era holds no more serious success prospects for Tyrone - I think there may be something left in Tyrone this year so hear we go with the prediction:  Tyrone should be winning this game by 5 points which is a good win in any championship game, If they can win by 10 it will only help us alleviate the still hurting memory of  the 1957 all Ireland semi final, so come on Tyrone beat them by 10 - we left it behind that day.  As much as Louth is nice to the people that live in it, it is probably more fondly thought of as a pass through zone to Tyrone fans on our way to Dublin, literally and metaphorically speaking.  I dont totally expect that to  have changed by 8 45 Pm on July 13th.

If its a too legged game in a week why dont they just play 180 minutes in the middle of the week and be over and done with it.

I think it is ridiculous to build a house that big and stop on the final wall.  Problem is the GAA dosent need the extra capacity that the final stand would bring.  Always thought it kind of ironic that we stand in the wet all year around until we get our big day out in Croker where we pay treble the price for a seat ... in the wet.  Croke Park should be sold to and rented back from the government, as we need it.  Time to cash in our chips.
