Are there many clubs that have the 'tricolour' jersey?(like offaly)
In tyrone we have 2, carrickmore & kildress. Is this common in other counties?

2 north Derry teams, Drum and Glack wore tricolour (green, white and gold (not orange) )jerseys for a while back in the very late 80's, early 90s. Drum for a season and Glack for a few but both reverted back to their original colours

Its hard to believe Tyrone have won the same number as Dublin in the last 20 years. Dublin have massive numbers, finances, coaches coming out their ears, a tonne of cushy coaching roles for players, meals delivered, cars and and obviously a soft underbelly. Will be very interesting to see how they fare this year and beyond.

Hard to look beyond Kerry, Roscommon or Dublin this year

Rugby is the biggy for me too. Loved playing it back in the day and still watch away but its getting to a point were you're pretty much watching the same match, only the days and teams involved change.
My son has started both soccer and football nursery classes. Would I encourage him to take up rugby? In the past , absolutely, but I'm not so sure now. Its visual appeal aside, it's a scary sport now were the brut force of these guys and serious injury can only go hand in hand. Are they juicing to build their colossal body frames? Thats another major factor

Cheers for all the advice lads and lasses.

I looked at the rides on the Stratosphere I honestly dunno if I would even go near them.... sober. Drunk, maybe. Suppose I know what I have to do then.

down a long island iced tea at the bar at the top...makes you very brave :-)

Any reccomendations for things to do in Vegas lads? Going with the gf in the summer.

Thinking Grand Canyon helicopter tour, gun range, take in a show or two (maybe one of the magic shows then something like the Cirque or Le Reve) as well as make a pig of myself eating.

Anything else I am missing?

Bit of gambling of course as well. Shopping.
I would def go to see one of the cirque du soliel shows.
I wasnt that fusse don going, but tought it was great. You can get some great deals on dinner and a show from the ticket kiosks along the strip.

* Head up the Stratosphere and do one or more of the rides.
* Play roulette in one of the old casino's downtown (Golden Nugget or the like. The cocktail waitresses are literally by your side 24/7 if you need more liquid refreshment)
* Take a taxi to Town Square shopping village if that floats your boat
* Watched the 'adult' cirque show in New York New York...was good
* try the Man v Food breakfast at Hash House a Go Go
* Have very very late dinner in the Peppermill Diner (its where all the Vegas show performers go after their shows, open 24hrs)...food is incredible

Lads on here talking about Heinz ketchup over Chef?? WTF?? Madness

Chef is yer only man, do a blind taste test, you'll never look back

any man who enjoys the brown wouldn't need a blind taste. Chef has such a distinctive sweet taste compared to regular HP. Chef is poor enough

Sounds like you don't have the confidence in yourself to do the blind taste test JoG!!!!  ;D

BTW, I was talking about ketchup rather than brown sauce but the same things applies.

I'm a Chef man when it comes to brown sauce as well but HP is ok too and I wouldn't complain if it was all that was available. I couldn't have Heinz ketchup at all on the other hand

I actually bought a bottle of Chef brown there on Sat night in Donegal on the way home (no HP in stock). €2.48 for a bottle in a Centra, the squeezy plastic one was another 10c, dear!

On the beans, Branston baked beans over Heinz.  I enjoy the richer sauce in the Branston variety (enjoy Heinz too)

Showbox and chromecasting is becoming a bit of a pain. I'd advise no one to update showbox as it ties you in with MX player with the latest update preventing you using localcast  allcast and the likes. If you've a previous showbox apk in your phone's download folder, uninstall showbox and reinstall the earlier download and choose to update 'later'. Chromecast will work then

HD Cinema app seems to be the way to go (haven't tried it myself)

Chelsea fan sorry over Paris Metro incident

An ex-police officer and Chelsea fan has apologised for his part in an alleged racist incident on the Paris Metro - but has denied he is a racist.
Richard Barklie, 50, of Carrickfergus, County Antrim, was identified as one of the people sought by the Met Police.
In a statement, he denied racist chanting and said he wanted to explain the context of the incident to police.
Chelsea Football Club has barred five fans after a video showed a black man being prevented from boarding a train.
Mr Barklie, an ex-Royal Ulster Constabulary and Police Service of Northern Ireland officer, is currently a director with a human rights organisation - the World Human Rights Forum - and has also worked supporting victims of the Troubles.
Belfast solicitor Kevin Winters issued a statement on behalf of the Chelsea season ticket-holder.
In it he said Mr Barklie:
had been involved in an "incident" in which a man - identified as Souleymane S - was "unable to enter part of the train"
had not taken part in racist singing and "condemns any behaviour supporting that"
had contacted the Met Police to "explain the context and circumstances" and wanted to "put on record his total abhorrence for racism"
wanted to state his "sincerest apologies for the trauma and stress suffered by Mr Souleymane"
went to the match alone and did not know anyone shown in the video
had travelled to games for more than 20 years "without incident" and had never been part of any "group or faction" of Chelsea fans
The statement added: "As someone who has spent years working with disadvantaged communities in Africa and India, he can point to a CV in human rights work which undermines any suggestion he is racist."
It said the Met Police had confirmed "arrangements were in hand to take the investigation to the next stage".
Earlier, the Met said three men being sought in connection with the incident had been identified - and released images including one of Mr Barklie.
Amateur video shot at Paris's Richelieu-Drouot station showed a man being pushed from the Metro train while a group chanted: "We're racist, we're racist and that's the way we like it."
Chelsea has said it will ban the five suspended fans from attending Stamford Bridge for life if there is sufficient evidence of their involvement.
A spokesman said the club was writing to the victim to "apologise unreservedly", while manager Jose Mourinho has said he is "ashamed" by the alleged racism.

People who get wound up by Joe Brolly
Pat Spillane saying "intensity"
Gaelic football tackling

You have to understand that as a land locked county, Tyrone people are stuck for ways to let off steam. Dancing to Philomena, Hugo or whatever gelled up young pup with highlights is the latest craze on the country music scene in the Mellon country inn and various dance halls throughout the county and shopping in Derry were the staples, and now frothing at the mouth re Joe Brolly. All good stress relievers
