Can Litler get even better or is he at his peak already because he seems that good? Dart players form can fluctuate, Adrian Lewis is nowhere near level he was and the many come and go.

I got ridiculed here when I said Luton are playing well and unlucky with results.

Quote from: seafoid on December 11, 2023, 11:17:31 AMEverton are already out of the relegation places. The fighting spirit. They will not go down. The bottom three are abysmal.

Luton are decent at home.

Thought the tribute to Shane McGowan to open show last night was brilliant. Patrick Kielty was an excellent facilitator who just let the guests speak and remember without interruption.

Same guy that shared a brave and honest account of his experience of depression and how alcohol began to worsen his mental health?

Yeah he had a book about his battle with depression alright.

Yeah it was great. Eddie Howe goes from the spokesperson on referee respect a couple weeks ago to a critic. No sympathy for him or Newcastle. A man who couldn't answer about Saudi and treatment of journalists but couldn't answer quick enough about Saudi hosting a world cup. The biggest hypocrite in sport

Quote from: clarshack on November 26, 2023, 05:25:53 PMBig win for Cullyhanna against Liatroim who are a decent side. Fancy Cullyhanna now to beat Division 1 Ballyhaise in the Final.

Don't worry the Cavan folk will tell you that the league doesn't matter and playing div 1 football is no advantage.

Speaking to Armagh lads I know they say Cullyhanna were a senior team playing intermediate.

Quote from: RedHand88 on November 26, 2023, 04:12:36 PMI think if anyone liverpool will push them this year. They've improved significantly since last year. The rebuild klopp has done in midfield has been incredible.

Liverpools defence is giving up too many chances and don't have a proper 6.

I don't even think a good number 6 is needed in the new system when you've 2 of the best number 8s in the league. Teams are constantly on the back foot against it.

And yet defensively they are giving up too many chances?

Quote from: intheknowhow on November 25, 2023, 03:14:26 PMDo Cavan people realise that the majority of counties operate their championships and leagues combined? You can lose a senior champ final in Monaghan and still be relegated.
Yes, we do realise. But as we don't do it here, League is essentially easy going. The simple fact is they're not linked, so teams don't go all out for League as they know it's Championship you go up or down in.

Do others realise they're not linked in Cavan and Arva are where they are based on Championship results? It's that simple here. Seriously, how hard is it to understand that on Championship results, Arva are where they are on merit. They were poor enough in Championship to get relegated in 2021, and to lose a Junior final last year. Comprende?

I would doubt that, I'd say majority of counties have league and championship seperate

Yeah most counties nationally it's seperate.
