It relates back to a row over a sketch that the John Murray show on RTE radio1 did regarding Michaela Harte. If memory serves me right the song 'pretty little girl from Omagh' was involved. Harte sought an apology and none was forthcoming so he withdrew from commenting to all RTE media outlets. I'm sure the players fully supported him in this stance rather than him laying the law down himself regarding RTE's access to the players.

Still don't get why he would be upset about that? Was it something derogatory in the sketch towards Michaela? Was it after her untimely passing ?

Yes

Was there not also an issue with some commentator being sacked as well that MH supported?

Yes Mickey and a number of other managers voiced their support in relation to  Brian Carthy.

But it was what omagh_gael describes was the real issue and no apology was ever forthcoming from rte.

Eventually[/b]

They do just that, no disputing that, but they no reference to last weeks victory at all last week in which Mc Clure got MOTM with a victory over a Patrick Mc Bearty led Kilcar. Cormac Covery actually got the MOTM award yesterday, but we'll forgive them that error, looks like they must read this board as well, good to see they listen, well done.

Its more they depend on someone providing them a match report, very hard for them to be everywhere.

I see that once again the teamtalk website has no report to make about our u21 team getting to the Ulster final, same last week, no comment either. Unfortunately we have become accustomed to this treatment from teamtalk, don't really know what the reason for this is, but it is something that has been noticed around the club for a while now. As far as I know they got a verbal volley after the semi final win over Errigal last season in the senior championship for the same reason. Surely if they can find time for the Ulster league (ie pre season friendlies), or some u16 girls league etc, they could at least make reference to the fact that we are in the Ulster final on their main page.

Was thinking about getting the owl fella a Tyrone Season Ticket 2014 for Christmas. Are these going to be available for Christmas? Hardly.

Try this;

...so Coalisland v Clonoe will be back to the last game with a point a piece doing both? When you think of how many games are played without county players and how many are meaningless towards the end of the year, is it any wonder teams are failing in the Ulster Senior Club? Trillick will be guaranteed points against Carmen now I would suspect as a result of last nights game being cancelled. Incidentally if there are teams on equal points does it go on head to head or score difference in relegation, promotion, play off places etc?
on what grounds was last nights game called off?
any when will it be fitted in now?
the league is due to be finished over the next 2 weekends.

It's being played tonight in Stewartstown at 7 30

The new men were ratified a good few weeks ago.

Wasn't much point in them sending out Nomination forms.

Don't see what the problem is with playing games on Saturday. Starred games have been around a long time so that's just how it is.
Better to get it played now, leaves only a few games left, better than dragging it on into November.
Get it played, the ordinary club player comes first, he needs regular games every week.

No problem with playing games on Saturday. Its the fact clubs were only told on Sunday there would be games - its the sheer lack of communication thats astounding. Some of these games are crucial with Promotion and relegation at stake, Moortown Strabane game the perfect example. If Tyrone are to Win on Sunday there won't be a game played until after the AI Final when this game could have been saved for that gap.

This is a disgrace
Gormley pushed Mone, he pushed his hand back - nothing more.
Watch the incident. This kinda thing happens in every game, every week.
How can anyone watch that incident and say he punched.

Tyrone must appeal this.

Gormley should have seen the line, its funny how he always seemed to be the main tyrone player stuck into there incidents, you dont see cavanagh or Joe McMahon at this crap

Mone's own hand hit himself in the face.  It might have looked like a Gormley strike,  but it wasn't.

aye thats right, Dessie Mone decided to give himself a punch in the face for the craic of it. Such nonsense.

No but he put his hand to his face to indicate as if he had been hit which he wasn't.

Neither was a sending off. Mone feigned injury and would want to have a good look at himself.
As usual HS you're full of the proverbial and keep repeating what you have already opined ad nauseum. Mone got struck on the face twice, first time he didn't overplay it, the 2nd one he stayed standing on his feet and if he exaggerates the pain, it doesn't diminish the red card offence for the coward Penrose who had clearly lost his rag.

Hardstation is spot on.

Mone put his hand to his own face. There was no strike at all to the face. Penrose shoved him in the chest.

What's the likelihood of there being a round of fixtures this weekend coming? Even on Friday night!

No chance.
