Cathal lasted five minutes after coming on in the second half of the county league final. Martial art punch i think.
No choice but to defend himself with 3 or 4 boys throwing punches at him, what else could he do?

in reply to your post I should clarify, what I meant by 'he can't appeal his way out of this game' At the Ardboe championship game in September he deliberately levelled one of our players, a brutal tackle, no attempt what so ever to play the ball and he got red carded, and for all intensive purposes looked like he would miss the Killyclogher semi final. Then to my absolute shock he was playing as a result of appealing his very obvious red card. Why would he or anyone appeal to get off on such an obvious and brutal attempt at levelling a player. So it was in that context that I meant he would not be able to appeal his way out of playing Killyclogher this time. It was irony to me more than anything else. That does not mean that I don't sympathise with his injury, on the contrary of course I do, I wish him well on his recovery and wouldn't want to see him or any other player receive an injury like that.

You obviously don't read the posts on the catholic church thread re paedophiles, now there is a thread that might offend you properly.

Man marker watch the video and make your own mind up before you jump to conclusions on that tackle! Awful injury for Eoin on Sunday but toally accidental.

Our club has got a lot of gear from MFC Sports in the last 2 years, new kids on the block gear is as good as o'neill's and 15% cheaper.

Has there been anyone stand out in any of the championship games so far that could add something to the county panel?

It was tight in the first half, clonoe missed a few early chances but it was tricky conditions.  Dromore pulled away after the break but wouldn't read a lot into the result as Clonoe were missing a few key men.

PMG1 your arrogance knows no bounds! You must be part of Jirdans gang who does not want to see the county go any further !I just hope that Mickey asks his county players to go away for the weekend and not to risk anything for two silly league points !
Doesn't even merit a reply!

Uncle Kev, there are 48 clubs in this county who work their asses off on numerous occasions every day of the week to coach, train and nurture the talent that won the ulster title at the weekend.  The least they deserve is to have these players playing for them in vital league games.  Club always comes first and any county player worth their salt (and I know our three do) would agree.  Do you think these players want to be wrapped up in cotton wool for 3 weeks rather than playing a competitive game for their club?
PMG1 I am not looking 48 games off ! There is no reason why starred games can't be played as the league is well through. Dromore v Clonoe and Omagh v Ardboe involves a lot of county men that Mickey would regret if he did not gave them fit for 6 th August. If mc carron , Sludden mcnabb or justy suffered an injury on hard ground this weekend you'd be down in the dumps. Go ahead with all league fixtures but don't risk men that are vital to Tyrines quest for a 4 th Sam ! By the way what was your selection for the Drumragh dream team ?
I would.be much more.concerned if one of them got injured playing for Tyrone and missed the club championship!

I agree injuries to key men took their toll on Dromore but Carmen much better team on the night

Really looking forward to the minor league final replay between Dromore and Carmen this evening, game is at 7:30 in  killyclogher and if it's half as good as the first game it will still be a cracker.

It was a pleasure to be on Killyclogher on Friday evening to witness  a great game of underage football in the minor league final between Carrickmore and Dromore, some tremendous displays on show as both teams pushed each other to the limit, great tackling and some unbelievable scores, the way the game should be played.  Credit to killyclogher too for hosting such a big crowd, can't wait for the replay.

Is Emmett McNabb as big a talent as I'm hearing?

Is he Ronan's brother?
Emmet is a brother of Ronan McNabb jnr who is on the Dromore senior team, not the county Ronan.  Certainly playing well at the minute, will be interesting to see how he develops
