Top notch .  Especially Trevor

He took the goal well.

It is funny watching Bill and Eamon discussing the French public. They have no idea. And then the only French they know is "c'est la vie". Imagine Tele France 1  discussing Ireland and mentioning leprechauns and then laughter after someone blurts out 'Pog mo thoin".

There was no mention of the prostitution scandal that had Ribery involved- far more likely to have damaged the mood in the camp than Bill's race relations thesis.

The article mentioned prime mobile homes going for a quarter of a million. Now reduced by 50%.
I wonder what happened to the bikinis.

This was in the Irish times today

"Glamorous young mothers were known to buy designer "casuals" for the Brittas season and many wore high heels and full make-up with bikinis on the beach"

WTF? In county wickla ?

Will Dunphy and Giles still be there in 2030 ? the same 2 geezers since 1990 or were they on before that ?

Après Match has the best analysis. The rest of it is mostly padding. It's not just RTE or the English channels. French Tv is worse and there is no comedy element.

vuvuzela to me sounds like some gynaecological feature. I think it's the 2 v's the l , the u and the a that do it.

And that the establishment of Israel was a conspiracy by the West against Islam.
Quite frankly these Iranian political leaders are demagogues and engage in demagoguery of the lowest sort against Jews.
[/quote]

Why was Israel established on the land of the Palestinians? Because it was cheaper than giving the Zionists land in Europe. where did the zionists come from ?  Where were Shimon Peres or Golda Meir born? Not in the Middle East.
The establishment of Israel went  against all justice .

Two points, first Laois have to play Carlow who are no mugs themselves. Second if Laois make it through bear in mind they dumped Antrim out of the all ireland at the same stage last year. Having said all that I am delighted we avoided Tipp.
Good point about Laois. But with Carlow I just think back to the Christy Ring Cup in 2006 and shudder........ However, I feel that if we cant beat Laois or Carlow, well, the 'project' is at an end and we should just apply for the CRC next year. That said, Antrim always come good .......  :P I ialways think back to the film 'The Life of Brian' and the quote "I know you are the Messiah, and I should know as I have followed a few" ... same with Antrim and we long-suffering fans "I know that they are the best Antrim team, and I should know as I have followed a few" ....  :-[ But, one year it has to happen.. Doesn't it?

Carlow looked quite good in division 2. they look like a team going places.

I thought it was fair enough not to forget the injustice in Gaza as well. Sharpville, Darfur, Tianaman Square and other atrocities were aslo mentioned by one of the relatives.

Norn Irn is about 50 years ahead of Israel, much farther down the road. Israel hasn't even started.

Delighted for the people of Derry and especially the families of all those killed and injured.

Still so sad and galling to see t**t's like Gregory Campbell still slabbering about IRA shooting and Soldiers acting apropriately in a hostile environment. Shame on you, you p***k!

Gregory Campbell isn't good enough to be a public representative. You can tell watching him on TV that he is out of his depth. The fact that he is an elected politicians says a lot about the unionists who vote for him. It's the equivalent of the standard of the newsletter- ie very poor. All the talent is somewhere else.
