Utterly embarrassing today. Too much to ask for to beat Huddersfield and keep a clean sheet. Completely out of any confidence levels and a lot not fit to wear the shirt. A rush to the door to get out of this mess for some of the players.
OGS needs to be ruthless in the summer doesn't matter with inexperience Stevie Wonder could tell you who to get rid of!  ???

I knew United were going to get beat when Lingard missed an open goal at 1-0. That 2nd goal conceded was a story of United's disjointed season. Needlessly gave the ball away in midfield an off form goalkeeper trying to save a routine shot with his feet instead of his hands.

City did what they had to do 2nd half a very controlled and well organized outfit but I would expect Burnley,Leicester and Brighton to make themselves harder to score against than United were tonight.

Burnley are already wearing their Speedos Brighton will get hammered but the Leicester game will be difficult

And Utd aren't? I don't think Lukaku actually came back from holiday, definitely didn't leave the buffet anyway the fat ****.

De Gea breaking my heart this year. Though his heart is broken with what's in front of him. How they keep Ashley young starting is madness. Darmians first start since Mourinho. Too many passengers tonight!

Without wanting to get sucked into this debate because I think a few new players isn't going to fix United, the current squad, give or take, won 25 games last year and could win up to 24 this year so why couldn't they do similiar next year with 3 new players?

Name the last Man Utd signing that's been a success. The assumption here is that you are signing 3 players who instantly hit the ground running and are a major success. Recent history has shown us Utd aren't for whatever reason getting the recruitment right.

On the Ajax theme.

Do Utd not have any decent young talent anymore? How do they do in the youth leagues?

Mason Greenwood has been talked about for a lifetime but surely they must have a couple of athletic young full backs or wing converts that could give Young a run for his money.

Greenwood is still only 17. A young full back that might get a look in next season is Ethan Laird.

Tahith Chong doing well in academy but would be as well getting a loan in premier league or Championship. Fosu Mensah on loan at Fulham however never got going. Pereira needs games has the talent but as outlined before too many passengers at United.
Dalot looks decent and Shaw will hopefully only get better.

Heading to Amsterdam in July, been many times but never did the Anne Frank tour, tried booking it today, booked out all through July!! Any other ways of getting a tour?

https://www.annefrank.org/en/museum/tickets/

20% of tickets released on the day aswell so check that out . Get there early and hope for the best. Went there Kings Weekend (their equivalent to St Patrick's day) 2 years ago. Good thing to see while you're there. Can't wait to go back!

Taking  all day to kick long range frees wide instead of trying to speed the play up and work an easier chance , goal just gone in uphill battle now

Left that behind them too wasteful and too many hit and hope balls in the 2nd half. Hopefully rectify it for championship in Tullamore. Attride one of the few positives today. Ger Egan is some player.

What a way to lose a match. The two goals conceded was total giveaways and the club captain gets himself send off.  With a difficult run-in its a up hill task for United to reach the top 4 now.

A total clearout in defence badly wanted in the summer. Young nothing but disgrace tonight. Total liability

Great win. Absolutely fantastic to have Brendan Quigley back. Made the difference in midfield and the winnings of the game. Dug out the win. Plenty of roaring and balling from Carlow in the terrace. Decent crowd today hopefully good support for a final against Louth or Westmeath. Got a point that was about 2 yards wide in 2nd half. Great progress under Sugrue and hopefully more to come.Onwards and upwards.

It was hard listening to a few of them on the terrace. They really hate brody

Cheering at the end in the terrace for Sligo thinking they were staying up then realising Offaly pull it out of the fire.  8)

No excuses Ireland were outplayed in all sectors....they never threatened the Welsh line ....so ......we go across to Twickenham😂 swing low....then holding on for a draw....
rugby is fickle....Wales look good, Ireland not so good, England...full of empty promises....
roll on the World Cup 😎

4 warm up games  before the WC will be interesting hopefully build back up some level of momentum and keep injuries to minimum. Roll on the WC is right  :)

from how many attempts?

United 3 times at least, Arsenal 2, Chelsea 1 or 2...

Actually, City beat them in 2013. Never mind.

and Arsenal in 2013? Bayern went through on away goals rule

Interesting to see signs in Portlaoise town trying to recruit players to Clonad. Similar situation to Killeshin going into Graigue?
Not even remotely. Portlaoise patently can't handle the numbers in the town, this is a foolish riposte

As already outlined Clonad have long history of players from Portlaoise Portlaoise town can't even handle the number of kids to go to school in town. Kids from Portlaoise going to school as far as Timahoe and Emo. Gone are the days where you'd have 5-6 kids from same family on the one team.
